Mornings with the dogs
Every morning the dogs can’t wait to go out with me to feed the farm animals. They help move the horses into their stalls and little Clover the Aussie puppy loves Timothy the cow.
This is what happens when you try to leave the farm early.
Phoebe, one of our foster horses, got some excersize and training today. She's a nice horse that needs an experienced, confidant rider. It took a bit to get her head in the game but she came around in just a short training session. She is VERY fast if you let her and might be a nice games horse if she can learn the pattern. First step is learning to move away from pressure and give in to the bit.
This is our new project. Thank you to Richelle Rowley for helping us transport her to safety her.was a rescue pony who is so so scared of human touch. This is the first time we were able to let her out of a stall to eat some fresh hay and meet a few friends. She needs a new name. She needs something innocent and cute so that whomever adopts her in the future will want to have just an extra dose of patience for her. She let us clean her front feet but freaks out at the back feet. She is desperate for farrier work. Help us come up with a cute girlie name. We are leaning towards Piper, Glitter, or...?
