Purchased in 1998 from the Link family, the Parrott-Hoskins Farm has hosted two generations of 4-H projects and been home to many goats, pigs, chickens, cats and other various animals over the years. Currently, Parrott-Hoskins farm is home to registered Lamancha goats, Boer goats, laying hens, meat chickens, pigs, meat turkeys, and most recently added a breeding pair of the critically rare Jersey

Buff turkeys. A large garden and orchard area provides fruits, vegetables, and herbs--along with plenty of tasty weeds for the critters. The farm uses absolutely no herbicides or pesticides (other than our friend the Praying Mantis) and our animals are fed all-natural non-medicated feed that is custom ordered from the local feed mill in Caledonia. We believe in naturally raised meat and produce, so we never use antibiotics or growth hormones. Our animals are happy and very friendly--we'd love to show you around sometime!!
