As many of you already know, 4 years ago I made the big decision to continue to train and teach but to discontinue running my barn. I was fortunate to be able to lease the barn out to Nicole Brickner. Nicole and her family have taken excellent care of the horses and our barn. It was a sad day today as it was Nicole's last day as she has decided to relocate to AZ. Nicole, I can't thank you, your family and staff enough for everything you've done while at Stoneybridge. I wish you the best in your new adventure.

Im happy to announce Stoneybridge will remain open. Brian and Sheryl Fink will now be leasing the barn. They will be operating it as a boarding stable under the name Woods Edge. Im really excited for them. I've spent quite a bit of time this past month with them in preparation for the change. I can tell you they are hard working, detail oriented and very positive thinking people that care very much about the horses. Many of Nicole's staff are remaining to ensure a smooth transition.
I know the barn will remain a fun, family oriented place to enjoy our horses.

As for me, I'm continuing to train a limited number of horses and teaching lessons. Some at my barn and some at other barns. Im finding at my age its nice to to just ride and teach and let someone else worry about managing the barn. My training business will still be named Stoneybridge Stables.

Hope this clears up what the Stoneybridge status is and if you need a place to board give Sheryl a call at Woods edge!

Love my old barn, I'm so happy with our new roof. Thanks to Darlene and Martine and their crew for an awesome job!

Due to circumstances out of Big Daddy QH and my control I have moved my training business again. I would like to thank Joe St Clair and Big Daddy QH for the high quality care they provided while we were located at Windridge. Joe did his best to be sure both people and horses were happy and healthy. Thanks Joe!
So where do you go with a large number of horses on short notice. The beautiful thing is that the horse community really comes thru and soon we had calls with offer of a stall here and there. I thank all of you that called offering a stall or more, it meant alot. I have managed to locate my group in two barns. Here's the cool part the majority moved back to Stoneybridge. Yes my barn is still leased to Nicole Brickner and will continue to be. Although she was quite full she was kind enough to take in as many as she could. I'm very excited to be back home with the barn under Nicole's management. She's been doing an excellent job. The others I will be training at Pat Heegs barn in Greenville. She has welcomed us with open arms. Thank you Nicole and Pat, I know both of you will take outstanding care of our horses. Again, thankyou so much to all those that offered help to us.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to Nicole Brickner and her clients. Nicole is leasing my barn in Neenah and will be operating her business NB horse training there. People that know me well know how much I love that old barn. I feel blessed to have connected with Nicole who I know will give it great care and respect. Nicole I hope you and your barn family love it as much as I always have.

It feels good to have our first show of the season done. Not only did we have a good time but it was a successful show. Congratulations to Nicole Langohr, Sandy Sellers, Linda berg and Emma Paul. They came home with class wins, points earned and some really nice circuit awards.
Pictured is Emma, her first show as an amateur, can't believe she's out of youth!

We had a great time at the Lazy Day show this past weekend. Tim and Trish Schmahl did a fantastic job running the show. The arena footing was well prepared. There was great attention to small details that made the show truly enjoyable. We loved the scratch off and money bag idea, fun ideas. Great prizes too! Thank you for a wonderful show and for making the exhibitors feel so welcome and appreciated!
