Cherry Eye are scary looking and very common in Cane Corso and Mastiff breed dogs.
Cherry eye is a third eyelid gland that breaks or get scratched.
Surgery is a MUST to fix the Cherry Eye for your pet.................
Learning from experience with my Cane Corso, having the gland cut out is better than having it tuc back in.
Your dog will have more side effects if the gland is tuc back in than it will if the gland were cut out. Having the surgery for your pet to have the cherry eye cut out will give you and your pet better results.
