💛We met Onyx last week while providing pre/post neuter recovery & care.
🐱While Onyx was shy at first his loud purr & biscuit making skills - resulted in him getting a chance in our socialization program where he has blossomed! Onyx will be moving forward for adoption once he is medically cleared.

Tosh is loving his second chance at a new beginning thanks to YOU! We met Tosh and his siblings through a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Project being completed in Queens.
💛RescueNYC provided pre/post spay & neuter holding and care for this project. While caring for Tosh we had a strong sense that he could be worked with and hopefully adopted through our program.
🐱Working with Tosh was a big joy for our crew as he quickly learned to love being around his caretakers. We are excited to share that after a short stay in our care- a previous adopter of RescueNYC is giving him a chance to be part of their family!

Luna & Maya are the last intakes of 2023 for RescueNYC. They are bonded sisters who were born and lived in a closet for their entire lives before coming to us.
💛They had an amazing foster who helped bring them out of their comfort zones & showed them how much fun life outside of a dark,clutter, closet could be! We are happy to report they are enjoying spending time with people, playing with wand toys and being out!

Entering a shelter is stressful for any animal especially a 12 year old cat who came to Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) after being found in an apartment with his deceased owner.
🙏Thanks to #ACC’s quick work and Ash’s microchip tracing back to Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals - RescueNYC was able to transfer him to our organization within a few days, preventing a longer stay for Ash & freeing up cage space for another cat in need.
🐱Ash is currently in a foster home, where he is reported to be extremely social and loving.

With the weather today we feel very grateful that our boys are inside warm & safe thanks to the dedicated caretakers who worked to #TNR their mom and pull these kittens from a life on the streets of #statenisland.
