Put your phone down, turn off the TV, get outside if you can, and spend a solid 15 minutes giving your dog all of your attention. Play a game you both enjoy — fetch, tug, or even silly versions of dog agility. Whatever floats your boat is fair game…but do make it a game and have fun with your dog. Training doesn’t always have to be so serious. If you and your dog have fun together, your connection will grow stronger. When it comes time to train, your strong connection will make training easier and faster.

Dogs love treats and all dogs love to train with treats. If you start training a behavior with treats, it doesn’t mean your dog will always have to have a treat to do the behavior. The Dog Training 360 way teaches you to train with treats and then phase off treats so that your dog will consistently do the correct behavior every time. With or without treats. Training with treats is fun for dogs and their people.
