Big big thanks to everybody that showed up yesterday to our grand opening. We met so many new people and had so many loyal clients help celebrate with us. Delicia and I are so grateful to all of you, new and old clients, and hope that we can serve you well with our new daycare and boarding services. We want to thank Brick Oven Pizza for keeping everyone well fed with fabulous pizza and bread and cookies. Also, big thanks to Jock & Jill Popcorn who gave lots of samples of their 33 different flavors of popcorn. We still have 2 puppies, Exra and Indi who are looking for a home through Bassett and Beagle Rescue so go to there page and start the process to give a home to one of these sweet puppies or both of them. 🙂 It was a wonderful day all around with The Huskers winning and Pawfect Choice winning with so many people giving us love yesterday. Shout out to The Green Spot who has given us lots of support over these years that we’ve been in business; we appreciate your support. Let me get a little sentimental here, for Delicia, my wife, those of you that have come to us for grooming and hopefully now for daycare and overnight lodging, know that English isn’t her first language and for myself, Chad, I am visually impaired as most of you know, so we make quite the odd couple business owners but she is experiencing the real American dream with even being allowed to own a business as an immigrant from the country of Peru 13 years ago when we married. For myself, I’m 63 and get to do this business with Delicia, the most wonderful person I’ve ever known. 🙂 We try so hard to make people happy with our services and truly do care about both the puppies and their owners. Yes, this is a business but for us it is also a time for us to care for and even pray for people in need. We’ve met soooooo many wonderful people these past 4 years after moving from the state of Washington to buy this business formerally know as Pucci’s. Okay, enough sentimentality. 🙂 Just know we thank you all for making yesterday a success and our business a success. Blessings to all and everybody have a Pawfect day.

Coming very soon!!! Pawfect Choice wants to celebrate our recent move to 630 S 72nd street where we are expanding into doggy daycare and overnight lodging services to go along with our grooming service. On Saturday Oct. 5th from 11:00 to 3:00, we want everybody to come see our 7K square feet space along with meeting a couple of our furry friends named Ezra and Indi who are looking for a home. They are with Basset and Beagle rescue but want someone to love them and they will be your friend for life. Along with the pups, Jock & Jill popcorn shop will have their popcorn wagon out giving samples of their wonderful popcorn. Also, Brick Oven Pizza will be joing our celebration and making wonderful bread available and pizza. We will be providing free nail trims to our furry friends and other fun things to be announce soon. Bring your furry family member and help us with our grand opening. Finally!!! Pawfect Choice has relocated to 630 S 72nd street, Omaha Nebraska 68114 and will be providing doggy daycare services immediately with other services to come soon to go along with our existing grooming services. After 15 months of blood sweat and tears, it has finally happened for us to open up at our new location so we can provide many other services. To start booking doggy daycare please call 402-884-0330 as well as booking for grooming services with boarding and massage therapy for dogs coming soon. Pick a Pooch is coming soon. A reminder of this year's Pick a Pooch show at Baxter Arena this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 4:00. Pawfect Choice will be there so please come by and say hi and enjoy all the dogs that will be there to be adopted or find that special thing for your furry friend. Lots of vendors showing off their wares and just a great time to get out of the heat and be cool. Pawfect Choice will be there announcing our soon and coming doggy daycare and boarding services when we relocate from Countryside Village to 630 S 72nd street just north of Nebraska Furniture Mart on the same side of the street next to Jock and Jill Popcorn and Trek Bikes. We are hoping to be operational with the daycare and boarding services by September 1st and of course we will continue with our existing grooming services. Also, Chad (me) is learning how to be a dog massage therapist and will be certified soon as well. Far out man!!! Tomorrow Delicia and I will be guests on Boomer radio 94.5 on the fm dial on a program called Sit In with Jack Swanda. This is a regular weekly segment where Jack brings in people from the community to interview about what projects they might be involved with or something musically... Delicia and I will be sharing on this Sit In with Jack Swanda about our journey to Omaha from Washington at the height of the pandemic back in 2020 when we bought a dog grooming business called Pucci's that we later rebranded to Pawfect Choice. We will be discussing our soon and coming plans to expand into doing doggy daycare, boarding, doggy massage therapy and more. Also, we have provided Jack with a list of songs that will be played during the hour and these are songs that have or had meaning to us such as the song Can't Smile without You from Barry Manilow when i (Chad) fell off a performing stage in high school why singing this song. You'll need to tune it tomorrow to hear the whole story. Anyway, Boomer radio is for us old people known as Baby Boomers and they play music from the 50's, 60's, 70's and up to 1984. Check it out tomorrow at 4:00 until 5:00 and maybe learn something about Delicia and myself. 🙂 As we use to say back then, far out and groovy man.

Soon and very soon. We are in the home stretch to moving to our new location at 630 S 72nd street, just north of Nebraska Furniture Mart on the same side of NFM, with our move date to actually be May 27th. We have lots of memories here at Countryside Village and will miss the neighborhood feel but we will now be fulfilling our dreams of expanding into doing daycare and boarding and more. As most of you know, Delicia and I moved to Omaha in October of 2020 after buying Pucci's (now Pawfect Choice)) after leaving Washington. We wanted to do something together and I think we've succeeded. Not bad for a visually impaired old guy and a immigrant from the country of Peru. 🙂 We have met so many great people and made so many new friends. Come with us on our next step of the journey and let us love on your furry family members in our new location. We are now scheduling for daycare and of course will be continuing with grooming with our 3 groomers, Angie, Laura and April. We will do a grand opening soon so keep an eye out for that announcement. A final thought. We wish we could name everybody that has stayed with us in our early growing pains and have become such loyal clients but I would forget someone's name and I don't want to do that. So, cheers to all of you, and you know who you are, for helping us make this dream come true by allowing us to serve you and become friends with your puppies. Celebrate with us!!! Pawfect Choice is so very proud to announce that we will be relocating sometime in May. We have secured a much larger space which will allow us to fulfill our dreams of providing other services such as doggy daycare, overnight boarding, of course grooming, and in the near future we will be offering massage therapy as Chad is getting certified to be a dog massage therapist. 🙂 Additionally, as we move through this next year we will introduce dog training, hydrotherapy and other services all four our furry friends. The new location is only 1 mile away from Countryside Village located just north of Nebraska Furniture Mart at: 630 S 72nd street. It is in a small shopping center with notable stores such as Jock and Jill popcorn, Brick Oven Pizza ... The space we are taking use to be a store called Kids Stuff who still remains in the shopping center but they have relocated to the north side of the complex. We are currently building out the new space and will have play areas for big big dogs, large dogs, medium dogs and smaller dogs and if your little friend likes playing with the bigger boys that would be just fine as well. We can't thank our existing grooming clients enough for being part of this as without you and your loyal support we would not be taking this leap into something much bigger. We are humbled by having such wonderful people that support us and have done so from the beginning when we took over Pucci's about 2 and a half years ago after relocating from the state of Washington to settle here in wonderful Nebraska. If any of you reading this are interested in getting on our wait list for doggy daycare and/or boarding, please just call the store and we'll start compiling a list.
