I had a very fun clip today. Finley, a gorgeous Irish Setter/Poodle puppy, visited and his people (my cousin 😊) asked to have him get in touch with his ‘Irish’ side and have him clipped like an Irish Setter. So we ‘Irished’ a Doodle. His coat is still in transition from puppy coat, so it’s still a little fluffy and unknown at this time what it will look like when he reaches maturity, but it is an absolutely beautifully colored, deep red coat. The pictures do not do it justice. I do know he’s just as cute shaggy as he is clipped. What do you think? Shaggy or clipped?

I thought I’d share pics of my own dogs for once. My sweet Norwich Terrier puppy, Koda and my sweet old guy, Paco. Koda is a bundle of joy but full of the dickens and certainly keeps me running! At nearly 15, Paco is a saint for putting up with his baby brother.

Happy, happy Birthday to our sweet Georgia! She turned 20 years old today. She was groomed yesterday for her special day and she did wonderful!! I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing her for her 21st birthday. She’s a precious little bichon, but we clip her face short to make her more comfortable. Comfort grooms are the perks of getting older.
