Ever Noble

We raise KuneKune pigs. A great addition to a small farm. They are friendly and social, love to eat grass and aren’t hard on the land.

Located in Oregon City our farm is home to the six of us, 4 dogs, 3 cats, 6 goats, 25 chickens (sometimes more as our hens surprise us with new chicks), pigs for a few months of the year, and a tortoise (visiting while his owner is in Hong Kong for a few years). We spend the spring welcoming in the new baby goats and planting our garden. Summer is busy with friend and scout activities, milking, se

lling goat kids, gardening, berry and plum harvesting, and outdoor projects. In the Fall we welcome a few piglets, harvest the apples and pears from our trees and reap the rewards of our hard work in the garden. As the days get shorter our focus turns to schooling. It is wonderful to spend a stormy day inside reading and learning, knowing the animals are safe and warm. We find joy in every season and love seeing the different beauty and rhythm each one brings.

Piglets are growing and exploring. They have discovered that pellets are yummy too!

In the rare moments of sunshine the piglets come out to play! It appears we have 3 girls and 7 boys this year.

Piggy co-parenting! We finally had some sun today and the piglets ventured out a bit. Apparently they have completely combined the litters, I saw piglets running from one mom to the other and both were happy to let them nurse. Not the ideal setup but I’m very glad they have worked it out and all seem happy.

Baby KuneKunes are so adorable! These babies are particularly friendly so far. We have 2 boys and 4 girls, it’s going to be hard to decide which girl we keep.
