Axolotl are gorging on BBS and everyone but the runt slurped down a chunk of black worm tonight. Tomorrow I'll be starting a tank for raising adult brine shrimp and another one for cultivating black worms. Once your axolotl is large enough I have red wigglers for starting a farm (more info on that later) My husband loves me and what happens in the craft room...

Sorry for the delay, axolotls are all eating and growing. My last package arrives tomorrow!!! To set you up to succeed I'll allow the axolotls to leave my care once they are 1 inch. Please note, it is frowned upon to sell them this small the only reason I'm doing it is for the education opportunity and that you're in my community if help is needed. That being said I have several ready to go! A few just started to sprout their hind legs last night.

A cycled tank is vital to a safe healthy axolotl, DO NOT SKIP THIS. The good news is your new baby can live in a small Tupperware with daily water changes until your tank is ready. This is actually preferable so they can find their really small food. Your baby will start to grow really fast so be ready! An adult needs at least a 20 gallon, preferably long tank since floor space is better than height. Add 10+ gallons for each friend of the same gender. Also NO GRAVEL, NO SAND FOR BABIES.
