So thankful! Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁

I am thankful I have shavings scattered all over my house it means we have livestock in the barn.
I am thankful for the walks to the barn it means they have a place to learn and grow.
I am thankful I have to yell multiple times for them to come inside it means they want to finish their chores.
I am thankful we have manure to scoop it means we have livestock to take care of.
I am thankful supper never goes as planned it means they prioritize tending to livestock ahead of their own needs.
I am thankful I have a feed bill to pay it means conception rates were good.
I am thankful for the multiple runs to the store for soap, wire or whatever random things they may need it means the barn is in full function.
I am thankful I have to pay a vet to make a health paper it means we get to go to a show.
I am thankful for the thousands of miles we put on a truck on the way to shows it provides us time for meaningful conversations that we may have never had.
I am thankful we are exhausted because it means we are able to work hard and pursue our passion.
I am thankful for the chaos that is our life it means we are busy doing what we love, together, as a family...in the barn.

Congratulations to Trent Stacey Watje and The Kerlee Family Maddi Kerlee with their Class Champion | 3rd Overall Heifer Division 5 | 9th Heifer Overall at the AJSA Classic in Grand Island, NE. This Relentless x 515 heifer was raised by us and placed by Kerlee’s. She looked fresh, was presented to a tee and flat out looked the part. They have been a dream to work with and we are so excited for them and fortunate they saw the potential in this heifer.

CA Drought = feeding hay and buying more hay. Being stewards of the land and taking care of our cattle are a top priority for us. Thanks to McCorkle Farms & McCorkle Trucking for always working with us!
