This is Mufassa (Moo Moo), he has been missing from the Hand/Nova area for a few weeks. He is just under a year old and is neutered and microchipped. Mufassa was believed to have been seen in the Tymber Creek area recently. Please leave a comment on this post if you have spotted him! His family misses him very much!

Cool surgery alert!🚨
Today we did a cystotomy on a 12 year old schnauzer mix named Daisy! This sweet girl has a history of bladder stones and had the same surgery about 4 years ago. (Those stones were MUCH larger!) During today’s surgery, Dr. Cooper removed 15 medium stones and many many smaller pebble like stones! Sweet Daisy is already feeling much better!

In honor of National Rescue Dog Day, we are spotlighting Charlie!

This is his story. Charlie was found by the police department in Holland, MI when he was about 5 weeks old. I was on call the weekend he came in, and Dr. Jill and I evaluated him and discussed euthanasia because he was in such poor shape. He was sitting on the exam table, and he looked right at me, wagged his tail once, licked my face, and the rest is history! We cleaned him up, treated his mange and intestinal parasites, put some weight on him and he grew into a happy healthy boy! He is now 11 years old, and still loves hiking with his mama!

My Shih Tzu, Benji, had an infected molar that abscessed and drained on the outside of his face. When I called Shadow Lake they got him right in.
