Do you have a young child or teen that is bored and needs a little responsibility.
Get them to join 4-H or FFA. They have many activities they could enjoy.
I strongly suggest getting a show animal. It could be chickens, rabbits,sheep, hogs, horses or my favorite goats
You should see the change in these children. The fair is just over and the competition was intense. To see the smile on their faces is priceless.
RH goat ranch has pigs and goats and will provide some coaching.

For those who think 200 is too much to pay for a show goat please keep in mind that the same goats will bring that much if sold by the pound to be slaughtered with a lot less hassle to be frank about it. Just food for thought(pun intended) 😉

Deposits on kid goats are coming in fast with 3 made today and more being made Monday. Get your deposits in soon. !st ones to make deposits get first pick of kids born or rights to pass on those and wait on next batch. Also, we are taking deposits on the 10 feeder hogs that will be ready for Butcher at end of Feb.
