15.2 hand PSG mare. 14 yr old. Forward thinking but not goofy or dangerous. Took her to a show last month and did the 4-3 with a 71+%. Currently being partially leased to an AA client until sold. Easy to sit. X-rays from May 2023. She does crib but controlled with a collar. We did inject her hocks this spring but no other maintenance.

Rounding up volunteers for the ODS show at Brave Horse June 15-16. Shockingly we need scribes (this is usually the first job snatched up). Anyone out there available to help us? A full day would be great but a half day (either am until lunch or after lunch until done) would be be a super help too. PLEASE?!?

Looking to hire a WEEKEND manager at Milestone Farms near Pataskala, OH. This is NOT a stall cleaning job. There might be a stall here or there but it is PRIMARILY an overseeing position. Performance horse knowledge is a must. Feeding/making up grain, medicating, overseeing turnout, quality control, etc will be the primary focus of this individual. Message me if interested!

Are you looking for a smaller horse with an engine and great brain? Forward thinking but nothing dangerous in there at all. She spent the last year being leased to a lower level AA. Loves to work. Snaffle mouth. Correct gaits that are not hard to sit. Fancy enough for good scores but easy to ride. Sound. Full set of x-rays as of May 2023. $75k negotiable for the right situation. She does crib but it is completely controlled with a collar. This one is FUN! I envision this one going to a junior rider moving up the levels or an AA looking to earn some medals.

Wanting to make a trip to Ocala the first part of April to see horses for a client if people are still there? Looking for an AA lady that needs something safe to handle and ride at home. Dressage education and the ability to hop over a small fence randomly from time to time. Comfy canter desired. Who will still be around?

Our farm was recently hit by a tornado that removed part of the barn and indoor roof. The massive hole was patched with tarps that would flap in the wind. She was the first one I rode in there to see how it would go and she didn’t bat an eye. She was also the first one I rode outside when the construction crew was there fixing things and she didn’t even look up and the people scurrying and banging away on the roof. She’s a good girl.

Home from a long (but good week) at Region 2 Championships. Everyone rode well and profited from the experience. Congratulations to:

Lisa Katula aboard Don Caster on earning Reserve Champion at Third Level AA and earning 3rd in the Fourth Level AA earning Finals bids in each

Jill Virts Kessler aboard Flurry Knox on her 4th in the Second Level AA and earning her ticket to Finals. She was also 10th in the Third Level AA Championship.

Laura Phillips on her 5th place finish in the GP AA

Ashley Maul on earning 3rd in the PSG AA, 3rd in the I-1 AA, and 3rd in the I-1 Freestyle abroad Fiaro Lacendos with bids to Finals in each. She also earned Reserve Champion in the I-2 AA, 3rd in the GP AA, and 6th in the GP Freestyle aboard Adiah with bids to Finals. She also piloted (like she didn’t have enough to do) her Caprice to 4th in the I-2 AA, 4th in the GP AA, and 4th in the GP Freestyle and will be going to Finals.

Bronwyn Buys du Plessis on her fabulous Lochlan on earning a 3rd in the Third Level AA. Since she isn’t a US citizen she won’t be going to Finals but that’s ok. She was also 11th in a massive Third Level Freestyle.

Kathy Rizzoni graciously allowed me to pilot her Hashtag TOP to a Reserve Champion in the 4th Level Open, Reserve Champion in the 4th Level Freestyle, and 6th in the massive and super competitive PSG Open. He will be going to Finals as well. He just continues to exceed expectations.

Becky Borden earned a 10th place finish abroad Otterbein’s Lysander in the massive and stacked Second Level AA Championship. Not bad for her first Regional Championships and first year showing at recognized dressage shows!

Ann Melick, also in her first Regional Championships, just missed the wild card score for Finals in the PSG AA aboard her Santorini and finished 12th in that huge class.

Tracy DiSabato Aust brought both of her wonderful guys and finished top half of the always massive and competitive Training Level AA with “Chief” and in the First Level Freestyle with “Wiz”

And lastly myself riding my Serengeti..we won the I-1 Freestyle and came in 4th in the I-1 Open.

And there were placings in regular classes as well but, to be honest, my brain is so foggy right now I can’t remember…
