A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who joined us at our June Pet Pantry this year! Because of you, we were able to support so many folks within our community and their furry family members by giving out hundreds of pounds of much-needed pet supplies! 🐾

AND a HUGE, HUGE shoutout to our amazing partners—ACCT Philly, PSPCA, and Waiting  on a Friend Animal Rescue—for showing up and showing out! Although contributions from our partners aren’t included in the above numbers, the impact created through their donations is immeasurable. Your generosity means the world to us!❤️

Are you looking for double the love and squeaks? Milo (2 years old) and Enzo (3 years old) are a sweet, bonded pair of guinea pigs ready to steal your heart!

They love to play, snuggle, and chatter with each other throughout the day. They’re calm and content when being held, enjoy lap time, and absolutely melt for gentle rubs. These boys have experience living with a dog and have done great around kids, making them an ideal match for a family home or a cozy setup with lots of love to give.

We’re excited to partner with ’s Career Connected Learning (C2L) program to bring you the Summer Pawspurr Internship — a paid opportunity to gain experience in exploring animal welfare and developing critical life and career skills.

📅 Dates: July 7 – August 15, 2025
🕒 Schedule: 3 days/week, 5 hours/day
💰 Stipend: $1,320 (paid in 3 installments)
🚍 Transportation help available
📍 Location: Olney, Philadelphia

Hand2Paw is a recipient of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office Violence Prevention Grant Initiative, a grant established by seized funds from drug-related crimes. Thanks to District Attorney Larry Krasner and the entire DAO for supporting our ongoing community efforts. This grant will be used to support our organization’s mission to empower system-impacted youth through transformative programming, expand access to supportive services, and strengthen community partnerships focused on healing and violence prevention.

Our Double Good fundraiser is live—LET’S GET POPPING FOR A PAWS-ITIVE CAUSE! 🍿🐾🧡

At Hand2Paw, we provide paid internships for young adults from marginalized communities, providing opportunities for them to work with rescue animals to build connection, compassion, and community.

Our 2025 Unleashing Opportunities cohort is off to a ROCKING start—literally!

We kicked off the 6 month internship with outdoor team-building adventures at , where our interns shimmied, shuffled, and tugged their way through challenges, building trust and communication along the way. The ultimate test? Facing their fears on the rock climbing wall!

We want EVERY intern to have this experience, and we need your help! We’re **$1,500 away** from fully funding Outward Bound for all our 2025 interns.
