WOW!!! What an amazing day yesterday! Our pet pantry supported 300 households in the community and we’re so proud of our interns for all of their hard work in leading this event 🐾🧡
Thank you to our partners @north5thstreet and @islandtaste_philly for collaborating on the biggest summer community event we’ve ever done! Pet food, school supplies, moon bounce, cotton candy, water balloons and more?!! It was wonderful to bring folks together for a fun community day.

This past Thursday we celebrated our 5 Spring Pawspurr grads with a cookout, games and a special ceremony to honor them for their hard work and commitment to the program! This cohort had 94-100% attendance and truly showed up ready to participate and learn each day. We are so happy they are a part of our H2P family and look forward to supporting their goals and dreams as they move on to next steps! 🧡🐾 #hand2paw

On March 28th, our Unleashing Opportunities interns led a community pet pantry impacting over 130 community members and 230 pets in Olney! Our interns distributed over 1,700 pounds of pet food, 1,900 pounds of cat litter, dog and cat enrichment items and free/low-cost resources for animal care to the community. @emancipet and @rowanuniversity joined us as well! We were so honored that Philly Jeweler and Entrepreneur Angela of @angelamonacojewelry wanted to celebrate her birthday with a fundraiser event this past Wednesday to support Hand2Paw! She launched a paw charm at the event and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to H2P 🧡🐾 Thanks to everyone who came out to support, brought their pups and spent some time learning about our mission. A huge thanks to Angela and her team for making this happen!
Chinchilla fun facts: Did you know that not only is a dust bath a relaxing and fun activity for chinchillas but that it also is essential to keeping their skin and coat healthy?
Dust baths keep chinchillas coats silky smooth and the dust helps to absorb dirt and oil from their skin! Chinchillas have the thickest fur of all land mammals so it’s super important they have their dust baths regularly. Chili couldn’t get enough of his dust bath yesterday 😻 #hand2paw #hand2pawphilly

On Wednesday, April 3rd, we celebrated our Unleashing Opportunities graduates for six months of growth, hard work and dedication. Our young people showed up for themselves, each other, our animals and the community during their internships and we could not be more proud!!! 🥹
We celebrated with a wellness day sharing a sound bath and a rebounding class. To end the day, we had a special lunch and a graduation ceremony. We are so proud of your accomplishments and can’t wait to see where you go next! 🧡🐾

Our team had a great day at the @philadelphiaeagles Eagles Care summit last week! Thank you to all of the amazing speakers and presenters, we learned so much from everyone.
