Good morning our dear followers

I just want to give quick update, I no longer breed my dames and all retire cats are staying in cattery as pets they are not for rehoming.

Also, cattery is moving to Texas which I will no longer be in Pittsburgh area.

If you are looking for kitten I can give you few safe tips to avoid being scammed.

I will continue to post photos/videos of Mazzi, Lucy and Lordd and their kittens who found already their furever homes. They have such a amazing lives full of fun/joy and love from their new families.

*UPDATE*
It was really hard last 3 days and I'm lost for words.
Lucy had her litter on Friday 07/05 and there was unforeseen circumstances that kittens didn't make it. She lost last one this morning 💔 This has never happened before and it was big scare and sadness.🥺
Lucy is doing well, which I am beyond happy she was doing everything as mommy and she was getting exhausted as 2nd day came around.
Due to this event, I won't be breeding her anymore because I want to make sure she is well and I have more time with her.
I will reach out to anyone who was on waiting list with recommendation.

*Update*
Hello dear followers!
Due to personal reason, I have decided to retire my Queen Mazzikin from breeding she is healthy and 13.5lbs bundle of love and joy. Her birthday is coming up and she will stay with cattery as a pet, she will not be for rehoming since she is my diva.

Waiting list is CLOSED since there is wait over a year. Luvv is in the air Lucy is currently mating with Lordd and litter is expected May/June.

When you feed lions I mean Maine C**ns 🤷🏻‍♀️ 40.5lbs (21 bags) of ground chicken meat some green peas or carrots...Food is expansive but when you love your pets and want them to be healthy there is no price...I make this myself I dedicate one day to prepare food for them so I know with what I'm feeding my cats...Just chicken meat for adults when there is a litter I mix meat chicken and beef also I give them little bit of canned food just to get kittens use to different types of food because I know lot of people won't have time to prepare food like this so when kittens go to new home they already know what canned food taste it's easy for new family. **n

In the past when I was looking for my Maine C**ns I came across lot of scammers. I know lot of you who reach out to Meowcoon and got a kitten(s) from my cattery have had similar experiences. Since my cattery was registered thru TICA I received numerous emails from TICA advising about scammers and how to be legit breeder. For any registered breeder that is legit you must have some sort of contract when getting a kitten, Meowcoon cattery have basic but detailed contract, contract is signed the day you pick up your kitten you also receive results of tests that are done. Under contract you have 14 days to take the kitten to your vet to confirm it is in good health as provided with test results. After everything is confirmed, it is the new owners' responsibility for the new pet care. There was an unfortunate case, a kitten that was adopted from my cattery has passed away. It was confirmed by the new owners’ vet that the kitten was in good health. Owner is requesting a full refund which in not an option kitten wasn't in cattery care for over 2 months and it was confirmed by cattery vet and new owners vet kitten was in a good health. I want to mention here also I did however offer another kitten from future litter since owners were already on the waiting list for another kitten. That was the ONLY reason why I offered another kitten free, but owners talked to multiple vets and breeders and were advise not to accept my offer. In the future I want to make it clear since it's in the contract as well if you get kitten and it’s confirmed kitten is in good health within 2 weeks from getting a kitten from cattery and having test results don't ask for refund. This is the first case I had that kitten has passed away at 6 months old and I’m praying it’s the last, I take care of my cats as well any litter with so much care because I want them to live long healthy life.
