Smokey and her mom and brother were living on the streets before a nice lady took them in. Smokey's mom and brother have found homes and now it is Smokey's turn.

Smokey is about 4 months old. She has had first vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and her mother cat tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV. Smokey will get her booster vaccines and spay surgery on December 13 and then she will be ready to head to a new home.

Smokey is very sweet and loving. She likes to cuddle and hang out where you are. She does well with other cats and could be easily introduced to a dog and cat friendly kids.

If you would like to find out more about Smokey or to request an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]

This is a courtesy post for a lady who must re-home her two cats, Flynn and Janet. Both are three years old.

Here is what her current mom says about Janet:
Janet's vaccinations are up-to-date and she is spayed. No known medical issues.

Janet gets along well with her brother Flynn (apart from the occasional play-fighting); is shy around strangers until she gets used to them; scared of dogs; not sure how she'd get along with other cats or children, but she does well with Flynn.

Janet is very sweet and affectionate; loves to cuddle and play; gets very vocal when she's hungry, wants attention; can be a bit ornery and misbehaving at times (zoomies, getting into the trash, jumping onto the kitchen counters, play-fighting with her brother, etc.), but that is just normal happy kitty stuff.

If you would like to know more about Flynn or his sister, Janet, please email us at [email protected]

This is a courtesy post for a lady who must re-home her two young, male cats who have been together since birth. She recently got a new apartment due to school and cost issues but the new place does not accept cats. She is also getting a new roommate who is allergic to cats and absolutely hates having them around. The lady doesn’t have time much time left in her old apartment. She has looked for re-homing situation, but has found none.

The brothers are both 2 years old and neutered. The current owner got them when a friend wanted to put them out in the streets because they couldn’t keep them any longer.

These two are Tom (brown) and Jerry (Grey). They are both 2 years old. They have been neutered and have had their vaccines.

They haven’t had the chance to be around other cats or dogs, but they are really good with children and other people. They are very lovable and are adorable. They both love to cuddle and love to welcome their current mom when she gets home.

While Tom is a little shy at times and loves to be on his own, Jerry loves to be the Center of attention and likes getting his belly rubbed. They both love to cuddle with each other and with their human as well.
The current owner wants them adopted together because sge can’t bear to separate them since they have been together since birth.

If you would like more information or to request an adoption application, please email us at [email protected].

Brownie and her sister, Pumpkin, and brother, Eduardo, were born in a drainage ditch. Their mother cat was a feral, outside kitty who was being fed at a local senior center. We were able to catch mom and pull the kittens to safety up through the drainage grate. We had been having a lot of rain, so they would have been flooded out if we had not rescued them.

The kittens have been in foster care since the beginning of October when they were only about four weeks old. Sadly, their mother cat escaped before we could get her vet care. But these babies will all have happy endings.

The siblings are about 10 weeks old. We think they were born around the middle of September. Brownie is a beautiful brown/black long haired female. Pumpkin a a medium haired tortoiseshell female, and Eduardo is a long haired gray male.
The kittens have had first vaccines, have been tested (negative) for feline leukemia/FIV, dewormed, and treated preventatively for fleas. They will be spayed and neutered on December 10 and will then be ready to go to forever homes.

The kittens have been around another cat, older children, and were in a busy household. They have not been around dogs, but they are young enough that they can easily be introduced to a dog. They are friendly and loving and liked to be picked up and cuddled.

If you would like more information on the ditch babies, please email us at [email protected]. We can then also send you an adoption application.

Precious is a colorful female calico cat approximately 1 – 2 years old. Precious was dumped out at a trailer court frequented by a Trap-Neuter-Return group. Precious ran up and rubbed against every one’s leg that she could as if asking for help. Precious was taken to a safe place where she will stay until adopted. The foster mom reports that Precious is healthy and a very sweet girl. Precious is a lap cat and does love to cuddle and be petted. She has begun to play with toys and is very entertaining! As is typical with calico cats, Precious does let you know when she no longer wants to be petted. She gives a little speak and sometimes a swipe so she would do well with children who understand to watch for cat body language. Precious was getting along fine with the other cats who appeared in that colony at the same time.

Precious is clean and litter box trained. She is vaccinated, flea treated and de-wormed and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV. Precious would love to have a lap to sit in and a place of her own. Please consider adopting Precious.

Baby is a female black tortie who is approximately 1 – 2 years old. She was found outside by a TNR group and has been spayed so she has a small ear tip. The group did not want to return Baby to her outside colony when they noticed she had an unstable gait. When Baby was taken to the vet, it was determined that she has a neurological disorder called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. For Baby, this means that she has a bit of a wobble when she walks or sways slightly side to side. Even with her “disability,” Baby seems to be a very happy cat. She loves toys and is quite playful. She is also very affectionate and loves nothing better than to follow her foster mom around and receive pets.

Baby is litter box trained. She is vaccinated, flea treated and de-wormed, and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV. Baby may need a dental somewhere down the road as she has not had proper nourishment.

Baby would love nothing more than to have an inside home and someone to love her. Baby likes other cats and would do well in a home as the only cat or with other gentle animals.

If you would like to know more about Baby or to request an adoption application, please email Black and Orange Cat Foundation at [email protected]

This is a courtesy post for a family who is looking to find a home for a kitten they rescued.

Jelly Bean is a black kitten, about 5 months old. He has lots of energy. He tends to play with any and everything that dangles He loves cuddling when he’s in a non-playful mood. He loves food, treats, and toys of all kinds. He will need lots of attention and play time and is adjusting to the other cats in the household. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

This is a courtesy post for a family who cannot keep their sweet kitty, Michael, as he is very stressed by the new baby in the family.

Michael is about 3 years old. He is fixed, cuddly, friendly, and very sweet. Unfortunately, the family had a baby 2 years ago and he is not adjusting well. They have taken him to vet numerous times over the last 2 years to try and help. He is an anxious cat (according to the vet due to the toddler). The family has tried everything to make him comfortable (plug ins, calming treats, calming collars, new toys, fountain water bowls, and medication). It’s coming to a point where their last option is to keep him heavily medicated for the rest of his life which they don’t want to do.

Michael is around 2 big dogs and does well with them, even plays with them. The family is unsure about other cats, but when they found him, he was with other cats running around Easton. They believe he would do well in a home with older kids, just not young ones.

If you would like more information on Michael or to request an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]

Posey is a 6 month old female dark gray tiger kitten. Posey has had a rough start in life. She was living in a hoarding situation with about 40 other cats when her owner died. Since some of the cats were feral, a TNR group was called upon to help remove cats from the apartment and find them homes. This was a difficult task due to the amount of furniture and household items left in the home after the death so Posey was one of the last to be rescued. The group worked over a course of two weeks so during that time, Posey was hiding, most likely in the closet where she was trapped. Because Posey was afraid, she hid and was thought to be feral. Posey was taken to the clinic where she was spayed and ear tipped with the feral cats. The vet who did the surgery reported that Posey was actually very sweet but undernourished. It’s hard to say how long Posey was without adequate food and water. Posey did receive an ear tip but it only reminds us of what she has been through. Posey has a natural “grumpy face” that is very endearing.

One of the TNR volunteers offered to foster Posey so she would have a chance at an indoor home. Posey has proved to be a very sweet cat indeed. She is still a little bit shy but has warmed up to her foster family very well. When she arrived at the foster home, she purred and hissed at the same time. She was terrified. But now she only purrs! Posey has begun to play and loves small toys. She is an explorer and goes everywhere in the house and will find any little thing to bring out and play with even a piece of paper. Posey loves pets and rubs her head on foster mom repeatedly.

Posey is clean and litter box trained. She is vaccinated, flea treated and de-wormed, and tested negative for feline leukemias/FIV. Posey will warm your heart and your bed (she sleeps with foster mom). Posey would love to have a stable forever home. Please consider adopting Posey.

Opal and her brother, O'Malley, were born outside and were thankfully taken in by a nice lady who wanted to help them.

O'Malley is very, very friendly and loves to be held and petted. He rolls over for belly rubs and just wants lots of attention. He is a bit shy until he feels comfortable, but then he loves you and wants you to pet and play with him. He has a very big, over-the-top loving personality.

Opal is a lynx point Siamese. She has the classic tabby markings on her face. O'Malley is more of a snowshoe Siamese, although, they both have white feet. Both also have very beautiful blue eyes.

Opal is more shy than her big brother. She is also about a pound smaller than him. O'Malley is going to be a big, lanky boy. Opal does like to be petted and will let you hold her like a baby, but she takes longer than O'Malley to warm up. She will really need someone who will take the time with her to allow her to blossom and become comfortable, so she will be just as loving as her brother.

We are looking for someone who has had previous experience with Siamese cats to adopt this pair. And we will only adopt them as a pair. Opal relies on O'Malley when she is scared and they need to stay together to help Opal adjust more quickly to a new home. We also will only adopt to a home with older, considerate children. No young children, as Opal is not suitable for very small kids.

They would both be good with other cats and could be slowly introduced to cat friendly dogs.

The siblings are about 4-5 months old. They have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, treated preventatively for fleas/ticks, dewormed, and had all vaccines. They will not need any other vet care until next year.

If you would like to adopt this pair of gorgeous kittens, please email us at bandocats@gmail for more information or to request an adoption application.

Teddy and his two brothers, who have been adopted, were lying in the grass in front of an apartment where their mom put them for safe keeping. Only the spot wasn't really safe, as lawn mowers and mean people and wild animals could have easily harmed the tiny babies. As part of a trapping project, Teddy's mom was trapped and a nice lady took care of her and the babies until mom could be fixed. The kittens were only about 3 weeks old when they first started to be handled, so Teddy is used to people and is very friendly. He loves other cats and is young enough that he could be easily introduced to a dog.

Teddy is about 3 months old. He will be neutered, microchipped, and receive booster vaccines on September 23 and then will be ready to head to a new home. His mother cat tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV.

If you would like to adopt Teddy, please email us at [email protected] for an adoption application or to get more information.
