Mack has his serious face on today. He’s seriously looking for his forever home! 🏠

Mack is a special boy, he wants all the attention and cuddles.

If you work from home and want to get work done, he’s not the cat for you. He will walk all over your laptop and type notes while your on an online meeting -true story. All because he wasn’t getting attention, because I was in a meeting! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 He has also jumped on my shoulder before because he wanted attention and I was busy doing something.

Mack has been neutered, had his rabies vaccine and shots! He’s ready to find his forever human and have endless cuddles.

We are so excited to announce that bonded brothers Puck and Sneezy were adopted together yesterday!

Our hearts are so full with love about this adoption because they get to be together for the rest of their lives ♥️

Change of plans!

We will be bringing Sneezy and Puck to Tractor Supply today. Tammy and Mack are still healing from surgery. Sneezy and Puck are a bonded pair of brothers. I have not posted about them because they had a home. However, the individual that planned to adopt them is now unable to adopt them due to many unfortunate events.

Come out to Tractor Supply in Pocomoke and meet Sneezy and Puck from 12-2:30 today! 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

It’s not always just cute kittens. We have one that really needs to be a barn cat, one that has medical diagnoses and because of that we have had him for 3 years!! We also have a bonded pair. Don’t forget these cats when you decide you want a kitten. 🐈‍⬛🐈❤️

I found Mack under a car at my full time job and let me tell you he was super hungry!

Mack is not neutered and I am scheduling him an apt to start vaccinations, and the be neutered.

Bat Cat didn’t want to be rescued in May but now he enjoys sleeping under a heated blanket, next to his human. I’d say he’s living his best life.

These babies need their forever homes! 🏡

The light grey one is Bartholomew “Bart”. Bart is kinda shy but super lovey and veryyy mischievous. They’re all a little over four months old. The black one is named Toothless. They’re all brothers and no toothless is not actually toothless I asked 😂 Toothless sleeps on current owners face. He just has a tendency to sit with the tip of his tongue out and it makes him look toothless.

All grey one is Sebastian. Sebastian is very clingy and quite the diva.

Update: Mr. Maui was neutered on Tuesday and is doing great! The receptionist was so shocked he didn’t have a home already, she said “it won’t take him long to find one, he’s so handsome”! We have also discovered he’s definitely a lap cat!

Mr. Maui is negative for AIDS and Leukemia, he received his first vaccine and his rabies vaccination! He’s ready for his forever home! 🏡

Say hello to Tammy! 👋🏻

Tammy is 6 months old and already had a rough start to life.

Tammy was living outside and a kind lady brought her inside in fear that she would get pregnant.

Tammy is sick from living outside in the weather but we have started her on antibiotics. Our vet checked her lungs yesterday and heard congestion. Tammy received her first shot and de-wormer while at the vet yesterday as well.

I let the receptionists at the vet pick out her name yesterday so she’s not familiar with being called Tammy just yet. I’ve also called her tam-tam for short.

Tammy is not ready for adoption yet but once she starts to feel better we can get her spayed and then she will be ready to go!

This sweet girl will need a forever home in the future. ❤️🏡

Well well well…

We were in Hawaii for my dream honeymoon and were asked to take in an injured cat. 🏝️🐈

Meet Mr. Maui. Special thank you to our friends at Dogs Eye View Rescue, Inc for keeping him until we got back home. 🙏🏻

Mr. Maui was checked by our vet and is determined to be 3–4 years old and not microchipped. The injury was actually a ruptured abscess on his side. Our vet has treated the ruptured abscess with an injection and so far so good. We are keeping Mr. Maui separate to keep an eye on the abscess location. Mr. Maui is expected to make a full recovery, he doesn’t even act like the spot irritates him.

Mr. Maui’s bloodwork was all negative, but he does need to be neutered which we will schedule today.

I know a few months back, someone was inquiring about an orange male, just can’t remember who. 🤔

Mr. Maui is a very handsome with his long hair, I know he won’t be here for long once he is available for adoption.

Just some memorable moments from 2023 including the famous Bat Cat 🦇🐈‍⬛

Well I told myself I would slow down with rescue this year because of my husband being gone half the time due to deployment and me having to manage my full time job and rescue. However, it seems like that didn’t stop me!

In 2023, we rescued over 40 cats and kittens which for 2 people doing this in their spare time is ALOT! We adopted out 40 to great homes and that makes my heart so happy! ❤️🏡

We completed 2 TNRs and have 3 pending adoptions currently! We are so excited to say that Tyrone who we have had for ALMOST 3 years has a pending adoption for May 2024 when his future owner is back from deployment! 🇺🇸 Tyrone has struggled to find his forever home due to his medical diagnosis. As happy as I am to know he will have a great home, the tears will come when he leaves me. He’s been my cuddle buddy for the last 3 years.

We also ventured out this year and attended numerous events such as Paws on Pemberton, Blessing of the Combines, Fall Festivals, Strawberry Frstivals and The Great Pocomoke Fair to name a few events. We were even announced on the radio during the Village Mall adoption event on Chincoteague! We added pens, stickers and even purchased a new tablecloth and canopy with Pocomoke Paws printed on it for all the events!

We currently have June Bug who was rescued this year that needs a home still. Shes a 4 yr old spayed female who has a broken foot right now due to being attacked by another animal. June bug is not a fan of other cats and prefers to be an only cat, making her forever home hard to find.

We have one, possibly two cats that are not ready to be adopted yet but they will need to be only cats.
I know finding homes for only cats is hard to do so I’m trying to spread the word now.

One of the cats was an outside cat and she was attacked, we believe by a raccoon. She has a broken foot and is on medication currently. We will not adopt her until she is fully medically cleared. We refuse to put her back outside, but she would be an amazing only cat and is friendly with people, just not other cats (unsure of how she is around dogs as we have no dogs). She is four years old and spayed.

Please help us to spread the word, like I said finding homes for only cats is so hard to do and we can’t have her go back outside after this injury, she needs a loving home. 🏡
