We have had quite a few grads over the last few weeks.
We met Winston back in December. He started his journey at OREV with Dr Collette in oncology, then made his way to the surgery team with Dr Kramer.
Dr Kramer amputated Winston's leg due to osteosarcoma and then Winston followed up with Dr Collette for chemotherapy.
His graduation was a long time coming and over the last 6 months this handsome fella wormed his way into every team member's heart.
Though we will miss his frequent visits, we are so happy to see Winston living his best life.

Okay, you got us. Oswald is one of our chemo kids, busy kicking cancers butt, but he will pretend to be a doctor if it gets him a treat.

Porter had so much fun when we repaired his first cranial cruciate ligament rupture, that he threw on a party hat and came back for his second side.
Porter gives the best hugs and is an absolute gentleman to work with.

Midge graduated from chemo last week! She did so well that she got a puppy for her bravery. She still isn't sure how she feels about the new addition.

Oh man is it hard not to drop what we are doing to love on this little nugget.
Lily did what puppies do and took a tumble causing a tibial tuberosity and plateau avulsion fracture. Which is a cool technical way of saying she broke her back leg.
Dr Kramer fixed her up and now 5 weeks later she just graduated confinement and can continue being a puppy.

Alfie said lymphoma?! Psh, been there done that.
This handsome dude completed his first chemo protocol in Florida and did great, so great that when he came out of remission it only made sense to do it again.

Enslow - intestinal sarcoma, completed chemo at 15 years young
Hippo - a rescue pup from Mexico, treated for TVT
Jazz - a two time chemo grad for the treatment of lymphoma

Our hearts are as full as this box! But like the Grinch, there is room for growth. We are accepting donations until January 15th.
If you are dropping off food, please ensure it is not expired and it is not opened.
We are also accepting cat litter as well as other new or gently used pet care items.
This collection box is benefiting The Coffee Creek Puppy Program and Portland Animal Welfare Team.

There's a rumor that we have the best clients.... And over the past week y'all put that rumor to rest, and proved it as fact!
Thank you for the Amazon deliveries, it creates a bit of excitement seeing what we get to add to our donation box.
We will be collecting donations until January 15, 2024.
Donations will benefit Coffee Creek Puppy Program and Portland Animal Welfare Team.
We are accepting new and gently used pet care items, unopened not expired pet food and cat litter.

Piper here too spread some holiday cheer and news!

It's giving Tuesday

We have a large wrapped but very empty box in the lobby. Through December we will be gathering gently used or new pet care items (jackets, collars, leashes, harness etc) as well as unopened not expired pet food and litter.

Wondering if your pet items are on the acceptable list, give us a call or shoot us an email and a team member will be happy to chat.

Collected items benefit Paw Team and Coffee Creek Puppy Program. Both stellar programs benefiting pets and people in our community.

Oliver here with some important news

1) The clinic is closed for the long holiday weekend, we will be back in action Monday, November 27th

2) In the spirit of holiday giving, we have signed up to be a drop location for new or gently used pet care items (toys,leashes,collars,jackets and grooming items) as well as unexpired, unopened food. This will benefit Portland Animal Welfare Team and Creek Puppy Program and will be running through the month of December.

When the team decided on the theme "favorite super hero", we didn't think we would all show up dressed as Dr Kramer.
After a day of wearing press on tattoos and tattoo sleeves I think a few of the crew might be considering some new ink 😅
