✨KITTIES NEEDED✨

Our clinic is taking part in a study on a new treatment for OA in cats, and we’re looking for cats to take part!

Do you have a cat that has been diagnosed with arthritis or is showing any of these signs:

• Jumping, running, or playing less than before or falling when trying to jump?
• Grumpier, quieter, or sleeping more than before?
• Having difficulty using the litter box?
• Grooming less than before?

If so, your cat may have Osteoarthritis (OA). OA is a common disease in middle aged to older cats. Cats with OA can have pain, inflammation, swelling in the joints, decreased range of motion, and decreased overall mobility, leading to a poorer quality of life for the cat.

Your kitty could be a citizen scientist and help determine whether this new treatment could help thousands of cats suffering from OA. If enrolled, your cat will receive specialty veterinary care throughout the study, including physical exams, x-rays, blood work, and urinalysis at NO OUT-OF-POCKET cost to you. Please give us a call as soon as you can if you think your cat may be a candidate for the study, and we’ll take care of the rest! We’re looking to enroll as many cats as possible before September!

A huge congratulations to our fantastic veterinary assistant Ashley Thomsen for passing the VTNE! This is the national exam for Veterinary Technician credentials! Ashley has been a team member at PMVC since 2020 and graduated from the Penn Foster School of Veterinary Technology in December 2023. Now that she’s passed the VTNE, she will officially be a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the next few weeks. WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU, ASHLEY!! 💜
