Norielle Ziemann-James :

I was lucky enough to be born into a horse loving family and grow up on a few acres just outside of Tucson, AZ. I joined 4H when I was 9 years old and competed in every 4H show, and in many local shows. I competed primarily in Ranch Sorting, English, Western, and Gymkhana during my 10 years as a youth competitor. Every summer my mom would buy a project horse for me to work with, and with the assistance of my trainer, leaders, and parents, I was able to turn very green horses into safe, trained horses that we could sell to a good home by the following spring. I continued to work with horses at the University of Arizona, where I competed on their Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Equestrian Team while acquiring a Bachelor’s Degree in Equine Science. After graduation I managed a ranch and trained Arabians and Half Arabians that competed in local, Regional, and National shows successfully. A move to the Phoenix area gave me the opportunity to work at a Reining barn, and then at an All Around Pony of Americas show barn, before I finally started my own horse business! The knowledge and numerous life lessons that I gained from all of my experiences around horses is what made me passionate about horses and about teaching others. I am excited to share my knowledge with you and help you accomplish your horsey goals!
