Fishy friends… you have been so amazing with your adoptions, donations, and just following this page, asking questions for how to care for your bettas, and being animal lovers. I have met so many wonderful people here ❤️
This may not sound appropriate to ask and we hate to do this as it is not fish related, but we know to you, as too us, all souls matter no matter how small. We are trying to save this baby kitten’s life any way we can. We took him on as an orphaned foster on December 17, when he was just 2 days old. He was going so great but suddenly became very very sick and is now hospitalized at Upstate Veterinary Specialties in Latham, NY (more details in the fundraiser). He is less than 2 weeks old. He needs an oxygen cage and IV fluids and antibiotics. If we take him home right now he will die. He was given a 5% chance of making it through the first night and he is still fighting 24+ hours later. Not only that, but he has improved, but not out of the woods yet and his prognosis remains poor per the vet. He still needs hospitalization and the oxygen cage alone is $96 per HOUR. We cannot give up on him simply because of funds. He is a fighter and the only survivor from his litter. We are fostering him on our own without a rescue. We have spent thousands on vet bills this month alone after our dear 12 year old cat was diagnosed with cancer. If you can donate any amount, we are going to be forever grateful.
Donations can also be made directly to the UVS emergency clinic by calling (518) 783-3198 and asking for Percy’s account. Thank you so much for reading and sharing. We love you all ❤️
