Infinity Hundred Urban Farms is located on three separate sites near downtown Raleigh, NC for a total of 30 acres making it one of the largest urban farms in the United States. However, it is still a small farm that uses low tech methods to grow many types of crops without the use of pesticides or herbicides. We incorporate farm practices based on Permaculture and Bio dynamics and will offer classes in sustainable farming and gardening in addition to custom furniture building and design using reclaimed and recycled materials.
David McConnell is the principal and head grower for Infinity Hundred farms. He is currently completing a degree in the social sciences and is a father, artist, record producer, furniture designer and full time farmer.
Infinity Hundred Farms mission is to empower the community through sustainability, education and partnerships while offering individuals and businesses a responsible local source for their food.
By giving individuals access to local food grown sustainability we increase their quality of life through fresh food that is better tasting food. This also gives them better health benefits because the food was grown in soils that have been nurtured to make the produce have a higher nutrient density. We also advocate to raise the food awareness of the community through the educational components offered at our farm and through volunteer programs at the farm.
