We keep all stray animals 7 days before they are eligible for adoption/transfer to rescue. No information about any animal in our care will be re

leased until 7 days have passed since the animal was impounded. Please feel free to call us at 507-328-6960 ext 1 for the office, if you need an officer to respond ext 2. Emergencies call 911.

Travis and Taylor have been at our shelter the longest. This Saturday come meet them and all our available dogs. Discounted fee to $50 for long term dogs!

Travis is a little shy but warms up and just wants to hangout.
Taylor is outgoing, loves just to be pet and snuggled… she will be content with her toy just laying around. Both are potty trained and do listen.

“Babies” might be taking a little bit to find a home… she’s not about to give up! She’s come soooo far. When she walked into our shelter she didn’t know what a leash was. She was horrified. Meet Dak, young adult, super sweet boy. We are on a walk and he sees other dogs. He needs more leash training but otherwise seems amazing. Fill out an application with Paw and Claws, once approved, come meet him. ♥️

Mister Ed

This is Mr. Ed. You can’t hear him purring but he is non-stop! He absolutely loves people! All he wants in life is to be by someone. He doesn’t seemed bothered by all the barking but we haven’t actually introduced him to dogs or cats. He is about 6 years old and was found abandoned in an apartment and rescued, vaccinated and microchipped. He uses his litter box very well. He’s ready to find a family to love him as much as we do! Please call Paws and Claws to fill out an application then You can come meet him.
