11. Attention all WEB leaders: If you want to do 5th grade visits next week, you must make contact with Mrs. Barrett today or tomorrow. Text, email, or go to her class. If there is a specific school you would like to tour, please let her know, even if you already have.

The AVID tip of the Day is: Write in your planner every day. You could also include vocabulary words as a study reminder!

The Avid Word of the Week is JUSTIFY. The definition is: Give convincing reasons and evidence to support a claim, decision, action or event. For example, “The insurance company will not approve payment for a surgery if a doctor can’t justify the need for treatment.” Write your own sentence using the word JUSTIFY and turn it into the office for a prize drawing. Don’t forget to write your name on your paper!

Be Safe, Accountable, Respectful, and Kind as you go throughout your day!
