Worked Jericho again this morning, this time we put the stirrups down on the saddle so he could feel something touching his sides...he was not thrilled and bucked more than usual. But he did eventually give us a lap at the canter without bucking. He's getting slightly better at accepting the bit, and is doing really well at ground driving.

Putting some time on this beautiful 3 year old Friesian/Quarter horse cross. He's doing well, but the word of the day was "correction" for all of these horses.

Had a short training session today due to the heat, but got a lot in. Worked on teaching Jericho to lower his head to accept the bit, then started ground driving to teach him to yield to the bit. He did so well, not a single buck or anything. Finished up with working on backing (he backed the whole side of the arena but the Pivo kinda lost its mind and focus 🤦🏻‍♀️).

Wilbur went out and made a little girl's birthday super special yesterday. He was such a good boy that the kids have him baby carrots & apple slices.

The girls said that he was a unicorn, but we sure couldn't see that, so we'll have to take their word for it. ;)
