Follow the curious adventures of Snoopy the dachshund and his two basset hound pals Chewy and Dixie.

This page is dedicated to our 3 ridiculous and lovable hounds. Snoopy is our 7 year old red short-haired dachshund who despite being the smallest and youngest rules the roost. Chewie (male) and Dixie (female) are our 10+ year old basset hounds who each have very unique personalities and often get themselves into trouble. We hope you enjoy our journey with them in our home of Salisbury, North Carolina!

Pups are doing well! Begging for treats per usual, demanding infinite snuggles, and of course barking at spider farts which happen a lot but only dachshunds can apparently hear them. We must have an infestation.

Peanut is a pretty chill pup now that she’s not traumatized from the shelter. Tomorrow we go to the vet for a check up and to schedule a dental cleaning for next week.

We haven’t posted a lot to this account for a while but that’s all going to change soon. We sadly lost our 3 basset hounds over the last 3 years (1 per year) due to old age and major health issues. RIP Captain Beau, Chewie, and Dixie. 😢 We are thrilled to welcome our newest hound friend Peanut Brittle an approximate 12 year old dachshund. More videos and photos to come soon once we get her acclimated to our household. Snoopy is excited to get to know his new sister!
