Today our hearts are broken here at CTDR with the unexpected passing of Apple this afternoon. Apple came into Rescue 6 days after being found as a stray. She had what looked to be a big tumor between her back legs, which actually was a hernia that had also entangled her intestines. As she was being prepped for surgery this afternoon, her intestine ruptured and as hard as the vet tried to save her, Apple passed away. We are sorry Apple that your former owners neglected you but the last 6 days you were shown so much love. Run free sweet girl! As is the custom with CTDR, our Facebook will go dark for the remainder of the day so that our CTDR family can mourn the loss of this sweet girl

So I have this stray I picked up by my work today I just can’t stand to see dog starving and it is cold . She is very sweet. She needs to go to the vet and I am trying to find a home for her in San Antonio
I may set up a small go fund me to help with her bills if I can’t find a rescue that can take her.
