1. I care for farm animals while you enjoy family vacations. I’m living my dream job!! ☁️
2. I love animals and serving my community❤️
3. Born and raised in Marietta, GA🍑 joined, served and retired with 20 years in the U.S. Navy. Best life experience ever🌊⚓️🇺🇲
4. I have a horse: Sailor⚓️ and 4 mini ponies: Silo, Popcorn, Happy, and Dapple and a donkey who thinks he's a horse, Blueberry. 3 dogs: a human chocolate lab, Ever and 2 Sh*tzu: Olive and Sundae. 6 hens: Mango, Peaches, Pepper, Hershey, Mocha, Dixie and 14 ducks: The Breakfast Club
5. I've been married for 9 years, we met in the Navy, got married at the Memphis Zoo, built 2 dream homes and living our best life in Moscow😁❤️
6. My parents are still married after 47 years❤️ I have one sister, Kelli her nickname is Birdie🐦and she cares for dogs/kitties while staying in your home while you enjoy a much needed vacation, best part the animals aren't stressed in boarding.
7. I'm a grandmother to a beautiful 2 year old. Her name is Laylani, and I'm so in love with her❤️
8. I love the ocean🌊 and summer, lived in Hawaii for a total of 6 years🌺 I'm not a fan of cold weather or snow❄️

"Why I shouldnt walk and run beside you today. Because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. So I walk and run beside you, standing still if I have to. All while I feel my paws burning. Even as little as 5 minutes can be fatal to me and to my paws. My whole body starts boiling, but I’ll keep going because I am as loyal as loyal comes. I depend on you to know what’s in my best interest. So instead, let me stay at home where I can enjoy the sun, with a large bowl of water, somewhere in the shade. A cool area with grass would be best. With all the love I have in the whole world - I give it all to you - Love your dog 🩷🐾 "

Now that the snow❄️ is slowly melting away and warmer temperatures are arriving this week. What tips worked for your farm? What would you do different? Any vet emergencies?

I used a 100 gallon heated water trough in my barn for extra water and 2 tea kettles to make hot water. I still carried two 5 gallon buckets of warm water to make soup 🍵for my crew🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

Pond still froze even with a fountain⛲️ duck house will be built so the ducks have protection this spring🦢 they are currently swimming in my pool🙄

Barn Nanny tip:
The weather Sunday night calls for 1-3 inches of snow and temperatures as low as 4 degrees, if you don't have hot water in your barn I always use an electric tea kettle (they are at Walmart or order on Amazon) to make warm water/soup for my crew and for the barns in my care. ***Always remeber to have a backup plan in place, I live in Moscow and getting to the main road and all the farms that are on back roads in icy conditions is very dangerous***
