Is there ever enough time 💔? I think not.

Last night, this sweet boy earned his wings 🕊️.

Despite outliving every dog in history, his 11,478 days on earth would never be enough, for those who loved him. When we asked Leonel what his recipe was for Bobi’s exceptionally long life, his response was swift: “Good nutrition, constant contact with nature, freedom to discover his environment, consistent veterinary care, and love. Bobi knows he’s deeply loved.”

Godspeed, Bobi…you’ve taught the world all you were mean’t to teach 🐾❤️‍🔥🌈.

Jagger was the name on his microchip, but thanks to the volunteers of Furry Friends Pet Relief we know that his recently deceased owner affectionately called him “Jay”.

Furry Friends kindly removed a cancerous mass from Jay last month and were concerned when he & his owner didn’t show for his suture removal. They then saw our post and a sad discovery about Jay’s owner was made, but the silver lining was that we now had more info on this boy with the soulful eyes.

Jay is a Pibbly puddle of love - a testament to his beloved owner’s care and undivided attention. Jay and his owner had been unhoused for approximately all of Jay’s 9 years of life. Jay is excellent on leash. Jay has superb manners. Jay is all people, all dog and all cat friendly. Jay loves car rides. Jay loves to swim. Jay knows companionship. Jay is well versed in love. Jay knows what it is to be more than just a dog and to have an owner that would have given the shirt off his back to help his best friend, his son.

Jay is understandably confused, but he smiles, wags his tail and waddles along for his walks with an infectious positivity towards life. He’s that dog that makes you want to stop and smell the roses. He’s that dog who makes you think “carpe diem!” Nothing breaks his stride. Nothing gets him down. Our veterinary staff did a senior blood panel and found nothing extraordinary. He has no additional masses or health concerns. He’s in great condition for his years.

Jay just needs somebody to give him love for whatever time he’s got left and in return we know you WILL be adored, you WILL become the new center of his world and you WILL fall for Jay just as we all have. Call us at (925) 779-6989 to meet this boy with the soulful eyes.

"No iba a correr el medio maraton de 21 km porque hace 10 días mi perrita trascendido a una mejor vida y con ella entrene para la carrera, pero un dia mire una imagen de ella antes de la carrera y le pregunte si me iba apoyar desde arriba le dije que me diera una señal.

Después ella me dio ciertas señales por eso la llevaba conmigo, quería que observara que lo cumplí y me acompañara en nuestra carrera, al final lo logramos fue nuestro primer medio maraton, ella me salvó muchas veces de mi tristeza tenía que hacerle un homenaje”

En honor a Lya una perrita que lamentablemente perdió la batalla de su enfermedad a los 2 años de vida.
