Looking to give a special horse their forever home. Come meet our rescues that are ready to find the bond with their special someone.

3 yr old Ellie - ground work done, ready for her first ride. She is a pretty palomino filly with a big personality.

12-15 year old Appendix gelding Sweet boy, rides in arena or on trail but is not for beginners as he is forward.

17 yr old registered Arab gelding - needs confidence rides out nicely in arena but has randomly thrown bucks.

Make us an offer and ensure us that you will provide these horses with a good loving home. We have spent countless hours putting weight on, refresher rides, ground manners and TLC and they are now ready to have their very own special partner.

It is with heavy hearts we say good bye to good ol Dex. He was a gentle soul, kind as he was big. Poor guy suffered from many aliments throughout his life due to being born in Little Rock's worst surroundings. But he has very much love by Erik, T and the boys, and even grabbed a piece of my heart. This morning he past, most likely of cancer. His presence, ( his slow walk and kind eyes coming for a friendly pet will be missed around the ranch. Pray for those who loved him and are hurting at this time.
All I can say is it's been a H--- of a week.
Rest in peace ol man.

Today our ranch family did what makes them so special. Hadn't been home long from spending the morning trying to save my new puppy when Cassie noticed another client's horse was down and immediately called me. We both jumped into action and Cassie kept him moving while I ran to get meds. Then Kira and Shayann got here as quickly as they could and both took turns keeping him up and moving. T made sure everyone had something to drink as it was baking at that time. Floyd was quite challenging so I called Jose and he came as quickly as he could and he walked him and helped assess the situation. When we didn't get the response to the meds we hoped for Shyann took off and went to get truck and trailer so we could take him to the hospital. Shay and Kristian generously let us use the rig so we could get on the road as quickly as possible. Floyd is current resting at the hospital as the vet is hoping he can naturally resolve the displacement caused by the gas colic. When we have this kind of support and efforts by all it makes a hard situation as much better.
Sincere thanks for everyone's help today.

Please pray for Floyd and Reba to both make a complete and speedy recovery.

Horses, being prey animals, require acute hearing for survival. While humans possess only three muscles to control their ears, horses have ten. This anatomical advantage enables horses to rotate their ears almost 180 degrees and move them independently. This ability allows horses to hear sounds from all directions without needing to turn their heads.

So proud of my OCC girls today. They competed at NBA barrel race today and every did amazing.
Kyra placed 2nd in 2D, Skylar got her all time best time and Val won 5D and a buckle.
And most proud of Shyann. Over the years she continues to show and be an example of raising above adversity. Years ago she worked for over a year to get a horse we leased to become a great barrel racer. Through patience and perseverance this horse went from a horse that would hardly stay in a canter to working barrels into to low 16's; only to have the owners decide they wanted the horse back. Then we got her a mare and after a year it was apparent she was not going to adapt to the barrels. She now has a horse who is a absolute ball of potential but is not finished yet and has a ways to go. She continues to work hard and never gives up. She has had so many set backs and yet she keeps trying. Life is full of disappointments and what makes a winner is the one that keeps moving forward; Shy you may not have the money or buckle in your hand today but today you are still a winner in my eyes!
