Everyone meet Jayde!! Jayde has been at SAH for almost 6 months, but has been working in the veterinary field for almost 4 years. She’s currently in school to be a certified veterinary technician and enjoys working with every animal that comes into the clinic. Also featuring Kara who is a 5 year old Labrador/Pitbull mix. She loves people and will give you as many kisses as you want, and loves belly rubs. When she’s not running laps around the backyard with her cousin Jameson, she’s napping or cuddling with her mom on the couch.

Meet Zoe!! Zoe has been at SAH for almost 3 years, starting in kennel and working her way up. Growing up in San Diego, Zoe then moved to Montana where she studied Fish and Wildlife Ecology and Management. She loves all animals, especially her cat Teko and all species of wildlife. She enjoys fishing, winter sports and horse back riding.

Meet Lyra! Lyra has been at SAH for a year and a half now, but has been in the veterinary field since 2021. She is a cat mom of 4, and a reptile mom of 5 leopard geckos and 3 snakes. She has been passionate about animals her whole life, and is currently in school at Penn Foster to get her CVT! She loves getting to hug your pets and make sure they receive the highest level of veterinary care!

Meet the staff! Meet Olivia, she is very compassionate and witty person! She was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Florida a few years later, she’s been with us just under a year! She has 3 cats and 3 dogs that she takes awesome care of!

Our 'Meet the Staff' is different today! It's the Ladies' birthday! Meet Emma and Bindi, who are celebrating their 11th birthday today! They were foster fails when their previous owners required assisted living. Olivia has had them for a year and a half, and they love rolling in the grass, chasing squirrels, and shopping.

Meet Jaclyn’s pets!- Bailey is a 6 year old Havanese. He loves his family and while he's scared of strangers, he might let you pet him if you have a treat. When he's not sleeping, stretched out and upside down, he's playing with his Dad or chewing on his favorite toy.

Cheeto (9), Pepper (12), and Toffee Nut (9) are crested geckos. Toffee Nut has a very nutty personality, always jumping and dodging through the leaves of his pothos plant, and Cheeto and Pepper are calm, usually lounging on their ledges. Even though Pepper is blind, she still makes it through the landscape of her tank. Ameera (10) and "Baby" (2) are gargoyle geckos who love sleeping along pieces of wood at the back of their tanks. Baby has yet to find a name that sticks and Ameera is timid but still adventurous.

Meet Jaclyn! She's a 28 year old New Yorker who moved to Florida 5 years ago with her family after vacationing on Anna Maria Island her whole life. She loves animals, especially reptiles, and wishes to provide excellent care for both her own pets and all of the pets at the clinic!

Let’s meet Eric’s cats and bunny - My two cats are siblings the boy is Chunk and the girl is Lily they are 2 years old and live with a rabbit named Vanilla they all grew up together and live copacetically, they even eat together. They follow Eric everywhere.

Meet the Staff! We welcome Eric to the SAH family. He and his wife and two children just recently relocated here from Queens NY. Eric has been in the veterinary world for over 20 years and was a private dog trainer in NY and has a passion for caring for animals. He enjoys cooking and music of all kinds. Everyone make sure to welcome Eric if you see him at the clinic.

Today we meet Kim's pets! Currently has a 4 year old golden, Lily, that was rescued through Love 4 Paws. Lily has never met a stranger and loves to be petted. She tolerates her younger sister, Daisy. Daisy is a 15 month old Labrador/golden mix also adopted through Love 4 Paws. She is a troublemaker and gets into almost everything. She likes to carry things around in her mouth and wants to be around her older sister.

Meet the staff! Kim is our certified veterinary technician and has worked with us for 14 years. You will usually see her if your pet is here for surgery or a dental cleaning. She enjoys educating the clients and the relationships she forms with the clients and their pets.

Today’s nail assistant is Daisy! Our CVT Kim’s Goldendor. Daisy was adopted from Love4Paws when she was just a baby. So she is proficient in helping her Mom work.

The best days are when we get to help set a new path for a sweet rescue. Rue is a 6 month old dream of a Great Dane. Sweet Rue is up for adoption with Love4Paws. Thank you Olivia and Dr. Long for vaccinating and getting her up to date with what she needs.

We are so grateful for our clients. They may not be our family but we sure do treat them as our own. Faith recently became sick with Thrombocytopenia so we’ve been seeing her weekly for blood draws. Her lovely family brought us some homemade cookies! Thank you! No matter what Faith’s face says she does enjoy coming! 😹
