My name is Franklin. I was caught as a scared kitten at a business in Savannah. The traffic in the area made a tragedy a real possibility. I am grateful to be out of harm's way. I am still very timid. I need someone that is patient and willing to work with me to help me overcome my fear and be confident and comfortable. I do like to be pet and loved on, but then I get spooked and want to run and hide. That's no life to live so I need help with being socialized. With time, patience and love I am sure to thrive and overcome my insecurities. I promise you I will be worth it!

He ended up at M'Shoogys after his owner drove to Rochester Falls during a high-speed chase with the cops and threw Felony out of the car before speeding off again. His days on the run are over but he's still ready for an adventure. He's the perfect companion for an active lifestyle and will always be there with licks and love. This is Squirrel. Unfortunately, he was abandoned by his owner who used to work at the shelter. However, he doesn't hold any grudges. He knows life can be tough and at least he's in a safe place where he will be taken care of until he finds a stable home. Squirrel is a very friendly dog that gets along great with female dogs but would not do well in a home with other male dogs. He was in a home with children. He's something special. Hi, my name is Honey. I'm a cute pooch who loves to shower people with affection. Although I'm a senior dog, I have a playful side and I'm always eager to be by your side. This handsome guy is Harold. When Harold was found he was in poor shape. He was very underweight and sickly. With time, TLC and some much needed groceries he became a very handsome cat. There are no lasting signs of his rough beginning in life other than being a little shy. He does get along well with other cats. A quiet home with one or more cats would be a great place for him. I was caught outside of Angel's Vet. Never having known the touch of a human it was absolutely terrifying to me. I made sure everyone understood I wasn't happy. Fast forward a couple of months and I can't imagine it being any other way. I am a cuddle bug that loves to be pet and snuggled. I enjoy the company of my feline roommates, but what I enjoy the most is snuggling with people. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would feel that way. If that can happen, anything can happen. Including being adopted. Adopted and cuddled for the rest of my life sounds amazing.

My name is Finn. I was not always the BIG extremely handsome guy I am today, or at least I hadn't reached my full potential. Fighting every day on the streets just to survive is exhausting. Add to that the fact that I’m FIV+ and the challenge is even greater. At one point, I was found wounded and in need of some TLC. I got that at M'Shoogys along with a safe warm place to rest my weary soul. I made the most of it! Despite my rough beginning I am affectionate, quiet and easy going. The car finally stopped when it rolled over and they found me in the car with him. Luckily, I didn't sustain any injuries. So, I was kind of used to living in overdrive. Whoa, did I have a close call! I was found on the side of the road with a broken jaw. Yes, it was as painful as you can imagine. I had surgery to fix it and I am as good as new.
