Hurricane Ida came for her visit, overstayed her welcome, and left us a mess at the end of her Party. But pre-storm prep and a standby generator has everyone safe, secure, and totally cool. We even got to welcome the typical hurricane litter due to pressure changes.

With great love, comes great loss.
To all who have met him, you know exactly how much this boy was loved and will be missed by my family and me. My wonderful boy Jake, has gone to join his bestie Belle and my beautiful baby girl Elsa.
Just last night we cuddled and he was my pillow. This morning I had to rush him to MedVet. Though he stayed strong to hide his condition, my boy had inoperable cancer, and I was forced to say goodbye. My home will never be the same.
Hug your pups often. Get and give those sweet kisses daily.

There has been an extreme increase in families wanting to buy puppies, during their time, forced to be home. While most have been looking and considering getting pups for some time, there are also the impulse puppy buyers.
These scare the hell out of me!
It’s difficult enough to ask and interview people, to make sure they have the right intentions for my grandpups. My fear that in the months to come, shelters will be filled with puppies that are no longer needed to ‘keep their kids busy’ or ‘help them with the boredom’. If you don’t have a lifetime commitment to offer a puppy or adult dog, don’t get it. The added turmoil of leaving what they know as home, then being returned or abandoned is horrible.
You will not get a refund if you return a puppy. They are not out on loan or for a test drive. Seriously people!

Please read. A friend lost 3 - 12 week old puppies, to this plant, in the yard of her rental.
Edit: Sago palm. Tried to share an article from AKC, but failed. ALL PARTS,-fronds, stems, seeds and root are highly toxic to dogs.
