We are looking for someone who would like to make a career out of veterinary field. Although we would appreciate a person with previous experience, we are open to training the right person who is a fast learner, highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work quickly.

About the practice:

We are open 3 days a week currently due to COVID, but hoping to increase to 4 days a week. The day can be 10 to 12 hours long.

We are essentially paperless and rely heavily on the computers. Mac experience is appreciated but not mandatory.

This job involves:

Answering phones

Answering emails

Entering client info and SOAP forms into the computer

Scheduling appointments

Light bookkeeping

Drawing up vaccinations

Restraining cats

Filling medications and calling in prescriptions

Drawing blood, depending on experience

Showing owners how to give medications

Inventory

Cleaning and organizing

And other various tasks

Flexibility is important. We hope to eventually be open Sunday through Wednesday but are currently open Monday through Wednesday. This job may require occasional heaving lifting.
