For some time now, our policy has been to not do intake of birds needing placement unless it is an emergency situation. This will continue indefinitely.

We do ask that if you are considering adoption, that you contact us and we will keep you on a list of perspective adopters and will advise you when a bird becomes available. Often, we will ask the present bird owner to approve the adoption so that they are secure in where their bird is going.

Once again we are seeing many notices for lost birds this time of year. Please close cage doors if you have visitors or children going in and out often.
