Tina's K9 Rescue and Animal Sanctuary is a 501c3 No Kill Sanctuary. Our motto is: "Helping the Pets It provides care to animals in a no kill shelter. Thank you!!

Tina Herfel is the founder and president of Tina’s K9 Rescue and Animal Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Tina began her career of helping animals in 1998 when she opened a shelter in Sun Prairie, WI out of her home. She now has a 102x30 facility north of Sparta, WI. All operating funds come from fundraisers, adoption fees, and donations. Animals come to Tina’s K9 Rescue and Animal Sa

nctuary from all over the United States. Each animal receives all appropriate shots, is spayed or neutered, and is provided a secure and safe shelter. The animals are then found an appropriate home through an extensive interview and home visit process which can sometimes take an extended period of time. Some of the pets will live out the rest of their lives here as part of the sanctuary. If you are able to help Tina’s K9 Rescue and Animal Sanctuary, there are three ways to financially help:

1) Send a check to Tina’s K9 Rescue, 8784 Co Hwy I, Sparta, WI 54656.

2) Visit www.tinak9rescue.org and look for the donate button. You can either make a one time or monthly donation.

Another month, another rescue!
For the month of October🎃 we've chosen Tina's K9 Rescue and Animal Sanctuary out of Sparta!

To address ever-increasing energy costs, we are looking into installing solar panels. This would make our program more sustainable going forward.

We have been awarded a grant for half the price for the solar panels. This is very exciting news! To help raise money for the remaining amount, we recently had an open house. News 19 reported about the open house and explained more about the grant. We have more money to raise for the purchase of the solar panels. As a fundraiser, we are looking for people to sponsor a solar panel for $250. By sponsoring a solar panel, you'll be supporting the many animals at Tina's K9 Rescue. Each panel will have the name of the sponsor put on it.
