My girls lay such a huge variety of color!

Did you know you can dye Easter eggs with "hen colored" eggs too!? It's super fun to see what color the eggs turn when they already have a natural tint to them!

We have dozens and dozens of eggs ready to go! If you would like a wide variety of color for dying eggs just say "rainbow pack" and I'll make sure you get all the colors in your pack!

We also have duck eggs ready to go! Absolutely amazing for baking!

Finally got 3 babies from my frizzle hen! I am sooo excited to have some frizzle chicks available! 🥰

I think I told myself I wasn't going to hatch anymore this year due to low demand buuuuut there's bantam calico cochins, bantam frizzle cochins, some lavender orpingtons, and some suprise bantams going in the incubator right now

Annnnnd I'm saving up my duck eggs to incubate 😅🤠

Can't wait to see all these mini fluff balls pop out

10 more days and the anticipation is killing me!

I've hatched chicks before and kept a few and I've had hens hatch chicks that I ended up keeping BUT this is the first time I made a "custom order" for myself 🙈😁

I'm only keeping a select 4 or 5 from this hatch but the rest will be available as guaranteed started pullets or cockerals once they are grown out a little and I can tell who I'd like to keep! 🥰

I know who the parents are of every chick in this incubator and I am so so excited to see the results!

Once upon I time I thought that egg in the middle was a beautiful green egg but LOOK at that egg Gypsy just laid for the very first time 😍💚 one of the possibilities when you get Easter Egger chicks from me 😉

Waiting on my girls to lay just 5 more eggs and then these are going in the incubator! Projected hatch date Feb 6th-Feb 8th. I witnessed my Black Copper Marans Roo in the act with my Easter Eggers so these green/blue eggs may have potential to produce olive egger/moss egger chicks!

I also have eggs with just 9 days left! This hatch has lots of ISA Brown/Lavender Orpington crosses, Buff Orpington/Lavender Orpington crosses (these are CRAZY looking birds when grown out!) Lavender Orpingtons, and a couple eggs from my mystery malignant hen!

Fun fact: despite their tiny size, quail are equipped to handle down to -20° just fine! 😳🥶

Happy November 1st! We are 23 days away from Thanksgiving, 54 days from Christmas, and 81 days away from hatching season 🥳 I am planning my first hatch of 2024 to happen on February 1st! Another great use for quail eggs.. high protein salad!! Just spinach, half of a sliced chicken breast, 4 quail eggs soft boiled & cut in half, and a sprinkle of shredded parmesean!
