Please share! Already this summer, many dogs left in hot cars have perished and many more have needed rescuing. An independent study showed that the interior temperature of vehicles parked in outside temperatures ranging from 72 to 96° F rose steadily as time increased. And cracking the windows doesn't help.

Dogs need space when enjoying their meals or yummy treats. Unsteady toddlers and children should not have access to their dog while they are engaging in eating. Using a gate or having a dining station in a separated room will allow safety and stressfree dining for your pup.
Even if your dog tolerates their familiar adults taking food, toys or high value treats or bones away should NOT be expected to behave the same with other dogs, children or unfamiliar adults. Give dogs space! Stay out of their face!
Dogs with a Bone....Leave them alone. If the item is dangerous or needs to be removed. Use your head and make an exchange instead! Then be sure to teach and practice "leave it" before you need it! If you came over to my table at a restaurant with your fork reaching for my carrot cake on MY plate. I think my response might be a bit grumpy too.
