Due to unforeseen medical issues I have stopped taking in any mounts. I will be completing what I have in my backlog as soon as I can but that is all the work I will be doing. My apologies for any inconvenience.

Due to circumstances beyond my control and with regret, Reflections will only be accepting a limited amount of work this coming year. Reflections started reducing workload and stopped accepting waterfowl this past season and the decline will continue this year by only serving my existing clients.

Reflections will no longer be accepting any new clients.

This decision does not come lightly and has undergone considerable thought. This decision is due to the medical issues I have been informed of and a slow decline of my ability to get my hands to do what my brain needs them to do, in order to maintain the quality of work I strive for. Simple tasks have slowly become harder due to decreased mobility, resultant from osteoarthritis and 3 compressed disk in my neck. Finding out and getting my Type II diabetes under control has helped but I have to make a concerted effort to get my health back on track so my only option is to reduce my workload to allow me the time to do so. Taxidermy has been my second job for the last 17 years so its time to downshift and start making time for me and my family. All current projects are on currently track for completion as normal. More information regarding what I will accept this season will come in the near future.

Was small mammal Saturday this weekend taking in a grey fox, bobcat and another coyote and a customer picked up 2 deer as I got my first bear mounted up. Bout full up for this season!

One of my last deer, three more and a bobcat and I’ll be ready for the new season. First deer I mounted since my diabetes diagnosis and getting my sugar under control. Makes a big difference when your not wore out and your hands don’t hurt near as bad! Happy customer is the icing on the cake!

My fox and bobcat sculptures took 2nds at the National taxidermists convention and competition and I was honored to receive people’s choice taxidermy sculpture award for the fox as well!! A very humbling award!!

After 158 days away for work I am finally back at the ranch. I have one final commitment and then I will be full bore in the shop getting last years pieces and the few new pieces I have complete. Starting this season I will not be taking in as many animals as I have in the past. This is so I can provide the best possible turnaround time and best quality mount to my customers.
I thank my current customers for their patience as I worked overseas. Rest assured I will make it worth your wait for your mounts.

Due to operational commitments with my primary job, Reflections will not be taking in any taxidermy work this fall. Any of my customers desiring work done by reflections, please freeze your trophy and contact me in April when I return from overseas. Camryn’s bear is the last piece I can take at this time.
