Meow! Here is my latest charcoal drawing of the beautiful cat, Ursula! She was well loved by her family and this is a memorial charcoal drawing that I created in memory of her.

I always love to hear about all the wonderful pets that I draw. Their quirky personalities, sweet souls and how much love they bring to the families they are a part of. I feel such sorrow when I hear of the pets that leave too soon and that have crossed the rainbow bridge. If only they could stay a bit longer.

This is Mishka, a beautiful shepherd. This is my latest charcoal pencil drawing created in memory of her, by me, for her loving family that misses her so much. She was described as being “spunky and psycho. Running and playing frisbee. Jumping up getting pears off the tree and being a cuddle bug.” This is a picture of her in her younger years. Isn’t she beautiful. Her eyes.. oh those magnificent ears of hers!

It was an honor to create this one of a kind art piece that hopefully will bring a sense of peace and keep her memory alive. This is a 9x12” drawing, on paper created with charcoal pencil and charcoal powder.

A tail of two Frenchies! Here is one of two Frenchie drawings that I have just completed. This is a charcoal pencil drawing of Prince. What a handsome boy he is!

It was created on 11x14” archival paper using a combination of charcoal powder, charcoal pencils, brushes and erasers. The merle coat was a bit of a challenge, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Please check out the companion piece that follows of the female Frenchie, Cookie!

My last drawing commission of 2023! Here is a charcoal pencil drawing of Sully! It is a memorial drawing of a handsome, Australian cattle dog, that has now crossed the rainbow bridge. He was such a special part of his family for many years. What a handsome boy!

Here is Norah! She is my latest commissioned charcoal pencil drawing. The texture of the fur was quite a challenge, but I think it came out well. She is an adorable, 1 1/2 year old Sheepadoodle. Check out her beautiful, merle eyes!

This drawing was created using charcoal pencils, charcoal powder, erasers and brushes on high quality 11x14” archival paper. I have also included the reference picture I used. The bandana was removed per customer request. Thanks to Norah’s parents for the opportunity! 🥰

Check out this big boy that I just completed a drawing of! This is R***r! He’s a handsome, Rottweiler that is loyal and a real protector to his loving family. Happy 1st of August Everyone! I have been working away on my latest commissioned drawings and just completed this charcoal pencil drawing of Buddy. This is a memorial piece. This sweet, handsome boy crossed the rainbow bridge recently and this memorial drawing hopefully has captured his well behaved, gentle, loving nature. Those soulful eyes of his, captured my heart.

This is a 9x12” size on Fabriano watercolor paper. I used woodless charcoal pencils, charcoal powder and many erasers and shapers to achieve this look. Thank you to the owner of Buddy for the wonderful reference photos in which to work from. The commission also included a request to add the background detail. Let me know what you think!

Look at this handsome boy! This is a commissioned, charcoal pencil drawing of Carson. It is my latest drawing created in memory of a wonderful dog that unfortunately, is no longer with his family. He recently crossed the rainbow bridge and I had the honor of creating this drawing with the beautiful reference pictures that had been taken a year before his passing.

I really enjoyed drawing this portrait of my handsome, black smoke Persian, Bear. He is no longer with me as he crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago, but his beauty remains and I truly miss him. He was a big teddy bear! This drawing was created with charcoal pencils, charcoal powder and erasers and shapers on high quality, 9x12” paper. This was my own reference photo. Hope you enjoy it.

Charcoal pencil drawing of Baby Girl. This is my latest commissioned piece of a rescue with brilliant, beautiful eyes and velvety grey coat. 11x14” in size on watercolor paper. The reference picture used was quite blurry, so I added a few touches to create depth and texture.

Black charcoal pencils and charcoal powder on white paper, of a solid grey cat, can be quite a challenge! Many hours of layering and building up and subtracting with erasers and carving out with shapers is what my focus was on this piece.

Here are my current prices and offerings for a black and white, charcoal drawing (head/neck portrait) of your pet. Three sizes are available currently-

8”x10” - $100- (one pet only this size).

9”x12” - $120 - (one pet only this size).

11”x14” - $150 - (one pet only this size).

12”x16” - $175- (one pet)
Add) $75 for second pet (optional)

16”x20” -$200 (one pet).
Add $75 for second pet (optional)

Larger sizes or optional sizes- inquire for price quote

*If background is requested, additional charges will be added and price will be adjusted. (optional)

Delivery time is generally 3-4 weeks. Depends on if others are in queue before you.

Pictures sent (text or email) must be high resolution, high, detail, crisp, clean quality. The better the photo, the better the drawing will be. I draw what I can see.

Payment is 50% deposit to start (Venmo, PayPal), final balance due after previewing completed picture. Only then will drawing be shipped or pickup scheduled.

Drawing is on high quality, archival paper using a black and white charcoal only. Will be set with a fixative when completed to prevent smudging and packaged to prevent bending.

Here is a wonderful Christmas commission that I’m now able to share. This is Riley, a beautiful and sweet Golden Doodle that has crossed the rainbow bridge. I was told she was like a puppy until her passing at 15. What a sweetheart. ❤️
