It is September 29 of 2024. I am on a countdown. I have two more days to finish setting up the Cheeseboro pumpkin stand. This is what I have so far and I must say I am getting excited.

Yes …..🌾🎃🌾….. Chesebrough Pumpkin Stand will be open this year🌾🎃🌾 We had to take a year off . But we are back. Please come and enjoy all of the beautiful 🎃pumpkins and squash 🌾

Chesebrough Farm will have beautiful pumpkins for October 2024. It started back in May working up the fields by 1 June we have the seeds planted and under irrigation. The next step is cultivating getting rid of all of the weeds. We water every three days. Our plants are now approximately 36 inches tall and starting to develop blossoms and small pumpkins and winter squash. I will do my best to keep you updated as we prepare the stand for October 1, 2024.

Dear friends and family,

It is with regret that Bob and I at Chesebrough Farms, were unable to plant pumpkins for the 2023 season.

We hope to plant for the 2024 season, and we look forward to seeing you next year 🌾🎃🌾

Chesebrough Farm is loaded with beautiful pumpkins for your fall decorations and carving competitions🌾🎃🌾. We are open seven days a week the entire month of October from 10 AM till 6 PM. We look forward to seeing you🌾🎃🌾

Chesebrough Farm pumpkin field update🌾🎃🌾 they say that a picture is worth 1000 words so I hope this shows our progress🌾🎃🌾 The fields were planted June 1. Our first spray of the fields happens just after germination. Then we start cultivating and weeding the entire field. after we have blossoms we no longer spray during the day as not to disrupt the pollination process. We spray at three in the morning when bees are no longer present🌾 We do have some bare spots in the field🌾 either the seedlings did not get enough water and / or the heat burned them up. We have had some 100° + days of burning sun it can happen 🌾But I would say 95% of the field is in good shape🌾🎃🌾

It has been a long time since last I posted something on Facebook about Chesebrough Farm‘s 🌾🎃🌾 we are still picking up HAY but we stopped long enough to plant the pumpkin seeds🌾🎃🌾 yes our pumpkin stand will be open in October for your enjoyment🌾🎃🌾 I will do my best to keep you posted with pictures as the pumpkins start to develop on the plants🌾
