Happy new year everyone!! Just wanted to share an important announcement: Agility Angels classes will resume on January 25th and 26th. Out of precaution with Covid and the holidays, the Ability Center has postponed all in person classes until the week of January 24th. If you have any further questions or concerns please let us know!

Reminders!!

Just a friendly reminder that there are no classes this week (10/26 & 10/27).

Classes will resume next week for 3 weeks. Week 7 will be 11/2 & 11/3, week 8 will be 11/9 & 11/10, and we will host a bonus week 11/16 & 11/17. If you have any questions or concerns just reach out!

Another Angel has earned her wings! Figee joined Agility Angels in our second building at 8 weeks of age. She had a personality like no other. Her cobra strike kiss and the famous Figee dance. She loved everyone and was loved by everyone. Dance on Figee!

Another Angel earned her wings! Mickee was in the first Agility Angel classes in my backyard. She loved everyone and made each student feel special! She loved to run and especially loved to give kisses (Lickee Mickee). She is flying high with her sister Alee!

Another Angel has earned her wings. Alee started in Agility Angels in 2009. She loved challenging each student. She made them work for every clean run. She would let them know when they did something she did not approve of. She was often described as creative, opinionated and bossy. Fly high Alee.

ATTENTION:

Just a friendly reminder that Agility Angels classes are postponed until after February 1st.

The following information was sent out from the Ability Center, and Agility Angels will be adhering to their protocols and procedures:

“The Ability Center is committed to all those working in this program and your health and safety is our priority. Unfortunately, due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in our area, we have decided to suspend all on-site training sessions and facility volunteering until February 1, 2021. If deemed necessary, the suspension will be extended.”

We will keep everyone up to date as we near February. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Kim or a Jamie. Thanks!

It looks like the driveway will be open tonight for classes. So you can enter your normal way. However, they plan on starting the driveway makeover tomorrow morning so Wednesday classes will have to enter from Skelly Rd. Pull into the HRC building parking lot, turn to the left and you will see the path straight ahead. Follow it slowly around and it will lead you to the Agility Angels building. The path is narrow but you should be able to fit. There is walking traffic so please be careful.

ALSO! IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION:

**Attention anyone coming to Agility Angels/Assistance Dogs in the coming days...the resurfacing project at The Ability Center will be shifting & access to the driveway back to Agility Angels/Assistance Dogs will be blocked. You can turn down Skelly Road & drive on the walking path to access either building. **PLEASE be cautious...the path is narrow & there might be walkers or someone driving on the path. If you have any questions, please let us know. THANKS!

Hello Agility Angels families! We talked about this in class last week, but just a friendly reminder of the changes to the curriculum for the next two weeks. This week (week 6) was originally supposed to be Swap Dogs night. Instead, we will be doing a fun Halloween night! Costumes are more than welcome! Next week (week 7) was supposed to be friends and family night. Due to Covid restrictions we will be changing week 7 to Swap Dogs night. If you have any questions or concerns please let Kim or Jamie know. Thanks!

Another Angel gets his wings.
Higgins, following in his brother Bronson's paw prints joined Agility Angels 10 years ago. He was known for his playful attitude and his ability to make everyone smile.
Everyone at Agility Angels would like to extend our sympathy to Mary and Journey on their loss of Higgins.
