Does anyone know of any local banjo, spoons, guitar, or bluegrass musicians that would like to come to the ranch during our pumpkin patch open hours and have some fun playing for our customers? Would have to be willing to play unplugged and keep it family friendly.

We thought it would be nice to give some local musicians an opportunity to showcase their talents for a couple of hours and add to the fun at the ranch.

The Patch opens September 28th at 9 am. Open every Saturday and Sunday through October 27th and Columbus Day.

Come see us at the pumpkin 🎃 patch. Opening this year on September 28th at 9 AM.

Beautiful pumpkins, 🎃 gourds of all shapes and sizes, animals 🐑 🐐 🐮 🐴 lots of fun games, hay wagon rides. Our new feature this year is our pick your own “Gourdwalk”.

This year we will have fresh hot apple cider donuts, maple sugar, coffee, cider, hamburgers, hotdogs, and fresh cut fries.

No admission fee, no parking, games and animals are free to enjoy. Come have some fall family fun without breaking the bank.

I’m so impressed with our giant gourds this year. One of every size shape and color. This was one load we harvested out of the field today. These beauties are headed for the stand.

We are thrilled with the growth of our pumpkins! The pumpkin patch opens soon on September 28th.

This year we have the all new “Gourdwalk” to add to our pick your own experience. 150 feet long and full of vibrant and beautiful gourds.

Stop on by the stand today. Lots of fresh peppers, cherry tomatoes, beans, spaghetti squash, cucumbers, and gourds. Our sweet corn has gone out of season but we should have some of our Autumn crops ready soon.

The stand is Open every day on the honor system for you convenience.

We do accept Farmers Market Coupons, cash, and Venmo.

Come see us Saturday August 24th starting at 10AM in Fortin Park for the family fun event hosted by Destination Oneonta. We will have our adorable lambs and baby goat and the tractor and wagon to give fun hay wagon rides.

It was a beautiful but hot day for a petting zoo. We were happy to bring some of this year’s lambs to the Otego Fire Department Family fun day fundraiser. The kiddos had a great time with the animals.

Even the princesses have came for a visit.

The last of our pregnant ewes gave us a beautiful single ewe lamb. Dam is purebred Southdown Babydoll China and sire is purebred Captain Puffy. Captain Puffy is a spot carrier that gave us one fully spotted ewe lamb this season.

Purebred Sooty is solid black, great personality, nice conformation. She will be available the last week of July. She will be registered with BSSBA.

Pumpkin 🎃 planting round one completed today. Today’s planting included our long season growers Giant Pumpkins that will weigh 50 to 100 lbs 😮, jumbo pumpkins 40-60 lbs, Cinderella pumpkins, swan neck gourds, and mini 1 lb. Pumpkins. 4000 seeds in the ground. Still a few thousand to go in the next couple of weeks.

Leo the lamb is definitely in his naughty toddler stage. He is finding something new to get into every day. Curious and mischievous while he is learning to navigate the world around him. But this face…. Got to love him.
