Exciting happenings around here! Our new to us temp stabling is up and available for overnights- this opens the options for camps, clinics, xc schooling overnights and weekend training ings. XC course officially open for the season may 13th!

Exciting times around here! Our portable stabling is going up for our camps this summer! Overnight stabling, weekend long training and xc schooling will be available by mid May!

Entry link for the June 8th derby!

We are excited to bring the community another XC and SJ derby! Each level will do a SJ round in the arena and then a XC round out on the XC field for a combined score. Competitors are welcome to enter two levels.

As we get into winter training mode, I want to put it out there that there are 2 regular weekly lesson spots in my schedule available- 615 on Tuesdays and 545 on Wednesdays.

As we get closer to the end of the year, we have two schooling oppurtunities left at our farm before 2024. Nov 11th is our
jumper day and Dec 17th we are hosting a Holiday combined test. Entries for the combined test will be out shortly, but here is the entry for the Jumper day.

Very special mare available for in barn half lease- Halcyon is a retired intermediate level event horse who is also confirmed through 2nd level dressage with scores to prove it. Hali is available for a dressage only half lease, through Feb or March 2024. (She’s due with her first foal end of April 2024 and we need to keep her fit!) her ideal partner is someone who is passionate about learning correct riding in the sand box. Lessons required along with half board and shoes. In-barn half or full lease only. DM for details!

Spring XC clean up!!! We are so excited for the build, the terrain, and how great the footing is! course is available for schooling by appointment, $45 per horse and rider. jumps even for the littlest riders and horses- starting at 12”!

Our XC is open!! We will continue to mow, develop and water the ground, but XC is open (unless it starts pouring again) If you want to come school, please PM this page or text Anni at (253)225-3672. All XC schooling must be done with a trainer present. Remember that the XC fee is $45 a horse/rider combo and yearly releases must be signed. Payment is due same day, through venmo, cash or check. XC lessons are available by select appointment and are $85.

We have 2 Novice horses for sale at Grand Farms -
Magnum (first photo) is a half Swedish Warmblood gelding that is a complete Novice School master. Loves to jump and would excel teaching someone at BN/N or up through the 1.10m jumpers. He has many years (same owner since he was 3) of competition experience so he is ready to teach someone new about the sport, he is 17years young and never been injected. Standing 16.2h he is a great size for almost anyone! $18,000 Great home important as Owner health is forcing the sale more then anything

Barney (2nd photo) is a 10yo 16.2h Tb gelding that has all the pieces except the competition record. Clean in the Novice at the last schooling show, he is entered at Spokane SH in May. This guy is the complete gentleman in the barn, hacks out, jumps around and is very comfortable to ride. $20,000

The count down is on- I will be home in about a week!! Please note that there will be some changes- schedules, stalls etc. I’ve had a great trip, and am very excited to get home and implement some new things, but there is going to be some changes to make it easier for me to ride train and teach all of you more effectively!
First day for lessons is March 18th, though availability is limited that day.

Three lakes horse trials today! Lizzie, Macy and kendal are all competing in the Novice today. Rolo and Rachel are doing the training tomorrow. Scores can be found at evententries.con!

Due to the weather forecast, we are cancelling the Jumper Day on Saturday. With both Mark and I out of town, it is hard to promise we can keep the arena rideable to start at 930 if the temperature drops to the 20's like is forecasted. We are on track for April 2nd though!
We will be open for haul-ins though, starting about 11am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The arena should be rideable and the roads good, if anyone wants to come take advantage of the sun, the arena and course we set last weekend but you must bring your own trainer and make an appointment. $35 per horse haul-in by appointment only.
