Hello, my service dog Trooper had an accident on the stairs Monday and is now paralyzed from the waist down. He is only 6 and is completely healthy otherwise. We are already receiving a donated wheelchair, but he still needs ongoing medical attention. Anything would be a great help and we appreciate you even reading this. Thank you from all of us.

"This week on the TAILS program at SCI Pine Grove, we're shining the spotlight on the incredible holiday props created by our talented residents! Despite the challenges of working with limited materials, the guys have risen to the occasion, using their creativity and resourcefulness to craft unique and festive displays for our furry friends' holiday photos. From cleverly repurposed cardboard to imaginative uses of everyday objects, it's amazing to see what they come up with! Not only do the pups love getting their pictures taken in front of these fun backdrops, but the guys also have a blast working together as a team to bring them to life. It's a great way for them to bond and build camaraderie while giving back to the community. We're thrilled to share this special behind-the-scenes look at the Tails program and can't wait to see what they come up with next!
We hope you have enjoyed the four week sneak peek into the SCI Pine Grove TAILS dog training program. Check back frequently on our page to check out what Adventure we're going to tackle next.
"Behind the Scenes Week 3: We're excited to share another sneak peek into our incredible collaboration with the TAILS Dog Training Program at SCI Pine Grove! This week, we're going behind the scenes to show you the amazing work being done by the inmates who train these furry friends. From learning new skills and building confidence to forming strong bonds with their canine companions, our inmate trainers are truly making a difference. Hear from them directly as they share their thoughts on the program and what it means to be a part of something so special. This win-win program is not only changing the lives of the dogs, but also giving our inmates a sense of purpose and direction. Stay tuned for more updates from this incredible partnership and get ready to be inspired!

June 23rd, 2024. Pups With Purpose event Canceled
BE WELL WARRIOR EVENT- It is with great regret that I am posting this message to cancel our Pups with Purpose event planned for Sunday, June 23 at Werner Park. We have had a limited response despite advertisements. The importance of service and companion dogs is still a resource we want to ensure our Warriors learn more about and access. Therefore, we will approach from a different direction. Our resource event last year included service animals and will do the same again. We will also explore the possibility of a meet & greet with service dogs combined with an adoption event with area shelters. Thank you.
Happy Veterans Day! A big THANK-YOU to all who have served!
Anyone looking for info please msg...
Hello Veterans... This page was created to be a sort of mediator between the Veteran and New Hope. Everyone that you will interact with on this page is a Combat Vet that was offered a life changing experience with New Hope... We are here to speed up the process with the hopes of getting good dogs with good people, so we will be gathering information and reporting directly to New Hope.

Please enjoy the video as we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude for your continued support of New Hope Assistance Dogs. Despite the challenges and uncertainties of 2023, your generosity has allowed us to continue our important work of placing service dogs with those in need. The impact of your donations has been truly remarkable. In 2023, we were able to place 26 dogs, and thanks to your support, 12 of those dogs were placed with veterans, free of charge. Additionally, we were able to provide 3 therapy dogs to schools and a courthouse dog at minimal costs, as well as 6 dogs with adults and 3 dogs to younger children. Your contributions have made a significant difference in the lives of so many individuals. As we look ahead to the new year, we are excited about the possibilities that 2024 holds. We are eager to continue placing dogs with veterans suffering from PTSD, in schools as therapy dogs, and with individuals living with illnesses that impact their independence. We are also looking forward to new joint ventures, events, and activities that will further our mission. We hope that you will continue to support us in 2024 and join us in making a difference in the lives of those in need. Your contributions have enabled us to make meaningful and lasting impacts, and we are grateful for your ongoing partnership. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for making it possible for us to help individuals and veterans regain independence through the incredible bond between life-changing assistance dogs and their human partners. ๐พ๐ฆฎ๐โ๐ฆบ๐พ Tails wagging and 2 Paws up, 2024 will be the best year yet!
