If Cindy Lou Who were an Aussie!!!

This sweet baby has gone weeks without a real name.
From Midget to mini and everything in between & none of them fit her.

Today, we’ve come up with a name that fits her so perfectly 💕
It’s been an all in effort!!!😂

When ole mamma has a late night, I always bring the baby’s a lil something to snack on.
Tonight was Sonic French fry’s.

I give everyone, one French fry at a time, and they can’t grab the others fry, and they have to wait until I say their name, so they know it’s their turn.
Well, that’s the general theory, and it works really well. And it teaches them manners.
Except of course the baby, Stormin’ Norman.
He’s a bit spoiled. 😂

I love this old gal so much.
She’s a mom to all my baby’s, at least she thinks she is.

She has been the farm greeter to everyone who has come to visit.
And gotten in many a car to go with whatever baby might be leaving.😂

She was Norman’s goat getter when he’d go feed the goats.

She is , as Norman used
to say, the hall monitor.
(She’ll stand over the dogs that are playing, and bark at them, then bark at us, as if to say “STOP “, rough housing before someone gets hurt!)

A teacher to the Aussie & heeler pups, ALL OF THEM.

She has taken 2 copperhead bites to the face & throat to protect the baby’s out playing.

I believe she’s the only dog on the yard that is loved by all of the Aussies & Heeler’s.
And in general, the 2 different breeds don’t really care for each other.

She’s a gentle soul.

I see the aging in her face.

I see how hard it has gotten for her to get up on the furniture.
(So, I have steps for her in all her favorite places to relax.)

She’s always at my side, like my shadow. She has licked the tears from my eyes over the past 8 years, but the last 2 years she licked the tears away and even cried a few herself when her daddy passed.

I fear she will be the first of our foundation stock to meet Norman at that rainbow bridge.
And there were times, Norman would be watching her, and he’d comment, she’ll be the first of our foundation to pass.
Because of her size, and the copperhead bites, she does breathe deeper & harder than all the others. The vet’s actually thought her fur on her face & neck would sluff
off. But instead, she has a crooked smile.

She’s been retired for the past several years. I had a very special family, (the Lawson’s ) who had asked that when she retires, they’d like to have her.
Which would be wonderful for her, she’d be with 3 of her children. Yes 3! And one that she would take in as her own.
That really makes my heart smile. The love & kindness of the family that wanted her the first time they met her.
My plan was to let her go to her new home the Christmas before last.
Funny how other people sence things that we may not.
The family knew,
it would be to hard on my heart to let her go. And they were right.
I couldn’t let her go.

So, she’s retired here, with me, and all of her Aussie & heeler family.

She use to sleep at the foot of the bed, or on my pillow behind my head 😂

But now, since her spay and our move to our new house, she sleeps along my left side, stretched out length way.
Unless of course it’s raining, which leads to thunder.
Oh yes, the only thing she is scared to death of. Then she is in my lap, holding on to me with all her strength.😂
I have tried kenneling her next to the bed, nope!
She’s tore up 2 good crates, in a very short length of time to get to me!

She is one of my ride or die baby’s.

This morning she’s having a good day & she’s playing tug-a-war with the younger & smaller kids.
Her lil wiggle butt is just wagging & she’s jumping (kinda jumping) around, having fun.

I was just sitting here, watching her, admiring her beauty & gentleness.
I love this ole hound so much. She’s been a real blessing to my life.

I’m sure most of you remember Paris.
She was placed in a retirement home about a year ago.

I received this picture this morning.
Paris is happy, healthy & has her very own built in tank(pool) just out her back door.

Her new mamma & family love her so much.
I think Norman is happy with my choice of a retirement home for her.

Truly brought tears to my heart.

I love you Paris
And I miss you both.

Bedtime And Lace’s lil bark just makes me laugh 😂

Over the years we win, we loose, we love, we make friends & we loose friends. Our grand babies grow big, and our children get older & hopefully wiser. Which means we are getting older! We trust & sometimes that trust is not deserved, and at times there are those we shoulda trusted more. As I look over this video that popped up on my phone screen today, I realize how much changes so quickly. Some of it breaks my heart, and some of it makes me smile. Some days I wonder why I’m still here? What purpose am I still here and my husband is gone. And then I go to work and I spend the day w my new lil friend, who has dementia, and she’s waiting for me in the driveway, w/ her lil dog & ready to give me a big ole hug, and I can do nothing but smile, and the lil piece of my heart that still shines, shines brighter. Or I get a text or a phone call from an old friend, sometimes a new friend, and I have to smile just a little. So, I don’t know why I’m still here, but God knows why, and I have enough faith in him, that I keep holding on. There are many days when I know he carry’s me. And I have times when I’m standing on my own feet. I hope you enjoy seeing my friends & family on this video. I cried a lil & laughed a lil.💕

I love 💕 all of my baby’s! But there’s always something special & different about each litter. Ernie & Cookie are different as night & day. When I let these kiddos out to play, Ernie has to check EVERYTHING out, make sure the perimeter is clear and then he runs & plays and gets into EVERYTHING! When I set Cookie down for playtime, she doesn’t care what’s going on as long as she has my attention. And JuJu is such a good mommy. She lets these two romp & stomp all over her. Lol! Puppy 💕 love!

Reserved Jet This sweet baby, decided he was sleeping in my purse tonight! He is such a precious , blue 👀’d kiddo. And he needs to find his new mamma so he can sleep in her purse! 😂
