Grass seed Alert!

Please note that we have had a number of cases of dogs coming in to have grass seeds removed from under the skin, particularly the paws and legs.
Images attached showing how the grass seeds start penetrating and the damage that is caused.

Please check your dogs coats thoroughly after walking, especially the paws, ears and chest area.

Domestic short-haired white neutered male.
No microchip detected. Recently arrived at a feral colony at Valkenberg, but is incredibly loving and not feral.
Please share to find his owners. Looking for a foster/ permanent home if not claimed otherwise an option for him to be returned to the colony.

RIP Squirty a.k.a Grumpy cat 💔

I'm sure many of our clients... including some of our patients... will not forget our feisty cat Squirty.
He sadly suffered a stroke and Dr Plumstead had to put him to sleep today.
Rest easy old boy.
