We are still trying to find who this pretty girl belongs to, picked up in Carlswald. If you think you recognize her please give us a call on 011 318 2340.
Gorgeous yellow Lab, Asher, wants to wish everyone a very happy Friday!
Gorgeous little Skylar during evening treatments. She is spending some time with us while she recovers from her surgeries.
What a great way to start the day! Monika enjoyed some cuddles and kisses from Lily and Duke who came in for their first vaccinations.
Still needing a foster home for this little guy!
Happy Friday wishes from the BHVH resident pack of doggos!
Dumbani (yellow lab), Thula (tan Sharpei cross), Mutare (GSD/Ridgeback Cross), Bob (very vocal, tan fluffy cross) and Jambo (ridgeback/basset/who-knows-what-else goofy cross) wish you all a wonderful long weekend 🐾
It is that time of year again! Make sure your pet looks smart for all the festive photos with a snazzy bow tie or beautiful bandana; or make sure they have their own little gift under the tree by treating them to a new toy.
Elfie has only been here a couple of hours (after climbing out the cold freezer and fashioning himself a pair of sunnies from recycled materials to help with the adjustment) and yet he is just lying around relaxing on the blood tube rocker while the rest of us run around tending to hospital patients, going in to theater, dispensing medications and seeing consults! Will have to have a word with this chap...

As much as we love the puppy and kitten visits, the wagging tails and slobbery kisses from our patients, and all the gorgeous pets that walk through our doors; there is definitely also a less glamorous side to what we do!
Have a look at what some of the team said about the less than pleasant odours that are forever etched in their memories🫢
We have such wonderful clients at Blue Hills Vet. We are so lucky to get so spoiled and are so grateful that you take the time to bring us all these lovely treats❤️
If you don't see your goodies in the video please know they were most certainly enjoyed and appreciated by all; from the ladies at reception and in the office, to the vet you deal with and the nurses and animal assistants behind the scenes. We also remember fondly the patients we have treated, the families we have walked a journey with and all the pets that are no longer with us.
Thank you🥰
We truly do love all the breeds we are so fortunate to meet each and every day but there are some that hold a special place in our hearts for various personal reasons.
There are also those breeds that we would never have considered owning ourselves but after working with them at the vet we may have changed our minds!
We see patients with all kinds of names come through the hospital and while we love them all; it would appear some are more popular than others!
***UPDATE: SHE HAS FOUND HER FOREVER HOME :) ***
This little kitty is desperately still looking for a family of her own! Please come and visit her if you think you have space for her.
