Classes and private consults are available for all pets. We aim to help you and your family get the best out of your pet, a well-mannered pet becomes a valued member of the family for life! We use reward based training methods; these training methods are motivational for both pet and owner. We aim to produce pets that want to work for their owners all the time! Reward based training is a less stressful approach to training and will help to produce a much stronger bond between you and your pet, it is also fun for both of you!!!! All pets that want to enrol in any training classes must be up to date with vaccinations and vaccination cards must be sighted upon your first class! Our services include:

📣 Enzo update 📣

Enzo has done a lot of hard work lately, having his first two grooms and a mobile vet visit here at ABT followed by a round of ear drops. With the help of our training team and great support from his family, he tolerated these stressful but important procedures very well.

Now that he looks and feels much better, we are able to start work building a positive relationship with people, handling, and training tools like his muzzle.

Enzo took to this training very well, and with some tasty, tempting treats, was able to allow his trainer to put his muzzle on and do some handling and some mock ear drops. He even trusted his trainer to give him a relaxing massage after, showing the trust they have built together.

While it's very important for dogs like Enzo to be able to tolerate necessary procedures for their health and well-being, we are very excited to be able to take the time to make these experiences positive and less stressful 🥰

A big congratulations to our recent Adventure Class graduates!

It is that time again for the ABT crew to head down to Tennyson Dunes for our Behaviour and Beginners Adventure Class! We will be there this Sunday, the 25th of August for a 9am start, bookings are essential.

Tennyson Dunes is a lovely location to start working on generalising the foundations, including but not limited to, engagement, loose lead walking, recall and much more.

If you cannot commit to the full 6-week course of Adventure Class this casual booking is for you! You get to pick and choose which locations you want to go to based on these weekly posts.

✨Daycare Update ✨

Introducing our half and half days, this services allows your dog to spend the first half of their day in daycare and the afternoon napping for a desk day.

This service is perfect for dogs that love daycare but get a little tired in the afternoon and need more down-time or puppies that don't know how to behave once they get over-tired and may push themselves to far into the realms of exhaustion.

When your dog moves to their desk-day they will still be supplied lunch (if they are still on a lunch-time feed), toilet breaks and if they are very lucky pups their pawrents may have even included a tasty puppicino as an afternoon treat for their day! 🐾💞😍

The before and after of Enzo's grooming transformation this week.😮🤩

Enzo is a beautiful and affectionate boy who has just started his behavioural journey with us, he suffers from anxiety which causes a range of behaviours including fear aggression and aggressive behaviour when unsure about handling or grooming.

Enzo has a range of area's to work through and we are in the very begginging stages. The groom was a challenging process but with a very slow and supportive approach he was amazingly brave! 🥰

Grooming and clinical handling is the hardest for anxious dog's as we don't want to compromise their welfare by delaying routine checks or leave them in discomfort with health or coat care as this will likely make them feel the need to lash out more due to not feeling great, but we still need to work within their abilities and build them up. 😁

Follow Enzo's journey for ongoing updates on this lovely boy's journey, we are very grateful to be given the opportunity to work him and help him and his family through this journey! 😍❤️

Handsome Bear has been working hard on his Academy training journey at ABT. During Academy the dogs each get one on one training time to either work on general life skills and obedience or if you have specific requests they can work on them too. In the afternoon so long as they are comfortable with other dogs they can join a daycare group.
